  1. Hey guys, My brother just recently got an r33 up in qld (highly modified), being him not very understanding towards modified sports cars are like, he started up from where he bought it, drove about 30 secs, gave it a hit in first (not to redline), changed to second gave it another hit then..... whrrrrr.... power started to cut then stall. So he tried to start it again, it cranks but dosent kick, so his mate gave it a go and cranked, cranked, he gave it a little gas, crank then..... BANG! a loud backfire like shotgun cameout. Car wont start still. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks P.S Fuel pumps still prime Cheers Ken

  11. Hi Chris (Evil_Weevil), You replied to my post two days ago i thiink but it got erased when the server went down and i can't PM you because i haven't posted more than 10 yet. I wanted to ask when you got your car engineered did it have a roll cage? Because my friend told me today that we cant engineer roll cages in NSW? Thanks Cheers Ken
  12. Hi guys, I've been searching all day and night for some answers but couldn't quite find what i was looking for. Well basically my brother in Qld is sending me his r33 gtst down here to sydney, NSW. Now i know to register it in NSW i'll have to get a blue slip, pink slip, green slip then rego, but the thing is, the car is highly modified (roll cage, rb26 swapp, aftermarket this and that...) and therefore i'll need an engineers certificate to pass the blue slip. The other thing though is that in Qld the mods are plated and is registered and onroad, but knowing what NSW is like i dont think i'll be able to get an engineers certificate and get it registered here. So my question is since the mods were plated in qld will i be able to use that as like an engineers certificate in NSW? I suppose the other option is to leave it registered under his name in qld and drive it down here in NSW but then again is there a time limit the car is allowed to stay down here but registered in qld? and say if i could keep the car down here would i have to bring the car back to qld every year for a pink slip so the rego could be renewed? Thanks Ken
