  1. the car has a much bigger bore the sr20 has a 86X86 where as the rb 20 in 79.3 I think the test will be when we put it on the track how many times have you been beasten buy a 180 I know I have been done a few times
  2. plus it all bolts pretty much straight in no need for fabrication
  3. note the rb20 in the this picture
  4. look how far back the motor sits now go out to your car and see how forward the rb20 sits
  5. nah mate not drugs common sense this is a very good and very popular swap some reasons for the swap 1 no need for a custom plenum. 2 power fc bolts straight in 3 there are heaps of parts for them. 4. it makes the weight distribution 50/50. 5 there are no high profile ones and i like to be different. 6 I found some one who is willing to do the conversion for a reasonable fee. 7 the motors are more torquey. 8 the gearbox just had 2k spent on it in a full rebuild 9 the motor only has 80 000 genuine klms10 when I need to upgrade things like pistons and injectors I will only require 4 not six and development on the rb20 is finished in japan
  6. btw got the plates for it sr2032

  16. wellI'm doing some thing interesting I'm fitting an sr 20 to my r32 shock horror I hear you say but the proof will be in the driving and in the testing I have been very curious about this conversion for ages as most of you who have been to my site will realise. yes I love rb's but wanted more torque with out increased capacity the car will be running a stock turbo gtr cooler and exhaust I cant wait for the inital dyno run and I cant wait toget it on to the track to see how it goes. as I find the 180's etc seem to have an edge on us I seriously considered putting the sr into the cefiro but decided against it because I feel I would liek to see the difference in the r32. Ihave a feeling this wont be the last sr conversion I will do meggala
  17. aybee check your pm man and let me know cheers meggala

  20. I rocked up and you guys had all bailed
  21. the block is fine you just need better rods and pistons. stock cranks should be fine with treatment. the main issue with them is they dont have oil squirters to cool the pistons like the rb 20/25 26 meggala
