  8. inasnt consider stock rb 26 pistons they are cheap $120 + or so and they lower the compression and go in ok I believe and can handel 250rwk for sure meggala
  9. i use the stock reg it should be fine tehn you should ahve enough fuel pressure to run upt o 190 rwkw or so cheers

  11. yep ignition its not recommended to leave it on the limiter
  12. they are basically 300-320 hp at the flywheel turbos
  13. the 2540r is based on a t04 it is a much bigger turbo but very good but will have some lagg cant comment on the the gt-rs 2540r is bigger than a 2540 and 2530 meggala
  14. if you cgot a bare engien ie no loom turbo etc it would be even cheaper a freshen up I would reckon 3 k if you plan to make a bit more power the least I would do is fit rb26 pistons. meggala
  15. the one you have now describe the rb 25 turbo also it should not have a hole for the line going to the waste gate actuator on the compressor housing. they are rated @ 280-300 hp each there are no comprssor map for them the are a hitachi turbo which is a copy of a garret t28 with a t3 flange this is what they look like note the numbers on the comprssor housing meggala

  17. you will need a bigger fuyel pump at least and a s-afc its not as simple as bolting on a new turbo for more power. you could possibly need bigger injectors. got to my web site and read the article on modifications and get the turbo fitted and tuned buy some one who knows what they are doing as it wont be straight forward as it came off a different type of car. meggala
  18. yeha 11-12 psi is fine I run 1 bar with a r33 turbo and stock cooler btw the ecu is $300
  19. doesnt sound god I have an r32 and even when it was auto never got that bad fuel economy if its it o2 sensor a ford one will fit from an ed I think check my web site parts and info page. that sounds like the culpit no other clues from me sorry meggala

OK high power and lag go hand in hand un less you increase capacity sso you want 280-320 rwkw with boost down low the best way to do this is with an rb 25/30 motlowth on hearhas a similar set upto what you want and thats how he did it the twin turbo's are possible but you will still have lagg. he is making 310-320 rwkw @ 1 bar full boost by 4 k rpm I believe meggala btw go to my web site and read the mods section It might help

  24. you might have had a thicker head gasket to begin with or your timing is to far advanced
