  1. Nice discount Might make the most of it and fill it up, go for a long drive on Sunday and fill her again
  2. Can't comment on a sedan window, but my coupe sunroof need the ignition to be on to close it (where the windows don't). Don't think it's a big enough deal myself to try to change it.
  3. Signed up. I don't think there's 150 people on here... unless there's some fake sign ups
  4. Try a bit of offroad rally action? Looks dirtier than 90% of 4WD's going around!

You must have been going a bit slower cause I was going 80 too Yep spotted you... always get excited by a bayside blue r34 . I drove past the showgrounds when Stereosonics were finished... cops everywhere. Was glad I didn't have my R33 anymore Ditto!

    Spotted Thread

First time I've been spotted in the V in almost 2 years
  7. Great to meet up again everyone. Sorry I couldn't stick around for the cruise but promise I won't pike out next time Great photos guys and vid Rianto... good to see you got that dodgy electrician working on Juan's car
  8. You probably should reset the ecu after the mods anyway
  9. Finally got around to installing my JWT popcharger yesterday. Took a bit of fiddling around to get the rubber around the heatshield and air scoop though. I'm not too impressed with the connection between the original air scoop and the heat shield so I'll have to play around with that later on... anyone else have this problem? There may be a slight difference in power, but there is a noticable difference in throttle response (as far as I can tell). Sound wise it's all quiet until around 4k where it all comes alive so happy with that.
  10. Details are hidden a bit in the Melbourne V35 thead: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4910716 We'll try to convince you to keep it though
  11. Looks like fun! Not a bad price either.
  12. I've thought about this a few times. I'm in the same situation as you with having a daily train station car and only getting the V out for 1 or 2 days a week during the weekend. The thing that's stopped me is that I REALLY like my V. Obviously you're going to keep any GTR you buy for the same purpose (weekend super fun car) so why not put some extra cash into your V and put some Forced Induction into it? It will still be cheaper than a R34. I would advertise your car for 40k with the mods, but you would realistically be looking at 35k or so I would think.
  13. Probably the only weekend I haven't got anything on between now and xmas I'm in.
  14. Fair enough, I'll buy it without Group Buy. Thanks for investigating it though Mark.

    Jwt Popcharger

I'm in! These include the heat shield too?
  16. I'm in as long as the additional cost of you sending it to Melbourne still works out chepear. I'll keep an eye out for your post in the GB section I was quoted $115 US by ebay performancenissanparts for the Popcharger only (not including postage).
  17. Installed CF ztube and engine cover: Stock engine Difference between stock and new z-tube Carbon fiber z-tube and engine cover installed Love the sound difference of the z-tube. All normal until around 4k then a nice note (not too loud at all)
  18. I'm in the process of buying from them now. Just awaiting to see how much it would cost without the z-tube as I've already got one. Might be cheaper if we get a few people together for a small group buy?
  19. Could you please post a sound file so we can hear? I'm tossing up between this or a drop in filter. I prefer the look of the pod, but worried it might be too noisy for me.
  20. Exactly. When I first bought my R33 all those years back they were less common than the V35 is now so a wave was always on, but as the years went there was no way I was going to wave every few minutes. Ditto will happen with the V35.
  21. How long have you owned your V35 for? Jan '08 Where did you buy it from? (import, private, dealer): Imported by j-spec What type of V35? (Coupe/Sedan,Manual/Auto): Coupe/ Manual How much did you pay for it? Around 35k on road How many problems/faults have you had with it (please give detail): None How much has it costed repairing these problems?: N/A How much do you get out of a full tank of petrol?: 550-600k And lastly, 0-100, how fast do you reckon? smile.gif: Like a couple of others said, didn't buy it for speed so haven't tried or even thought about it. It wouldn't get close to my last car, R33
  22. Nice to know what your car runs before you start any work on it. Nice figure too! Just leave the spacer kit lying around... she'll want you to install it to get it out of the way
  23. Sweet. Will have to book some time in next time he's down.
  24. Also guys, I think you'll find your tv stops working after your car starts moving
  25. That's right... the one antenna didn't really have good reception except if I was in close proximity to a tv relay station/antenna. The duel antenna (installed on either side of the car on the rear windows) improved it slightly but I would say it only picks up in 40% of areas. IMHO, the first thing you have to ask yourself before installing is if you're going to really use it or just want it as a wag factor... I probably wouldn't have installed it if I thought about it. Since installing I only use it to watch the news occasionally or stuck at a wedding/ family function and want to watch some sport
