AHR31

Thanks to everyone who has offered their rides; Amanda & I have been really stoked with the response to our request . We knew we were pushing it to get all GTR's and in white, so we are more than happy to have GTS variants. We still require white and would like to see something a little more "tuff" than stock. If anyone has a suitable R33 we would love to hear from you as this is the only series not covered thus far. If you can post a pic or two that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

A GTR is not a definite however it would be preferred. Knowing that we have a bit of time before the big day we are hopeful of a complete white GTR lineup. Thanks for the offer and if we fall short of a white 33GTR we will give you a holler. I really like the 4drs but we really want to go with the coupes, with the 35's been the exception. Thanks for the offer.

Sorry Ash but we do want only white Skylines...it's in keeping with the virginal white wedding theme (cough!). The link is broken too. If we do fall short on our wish we will certainly keep the idea in mind as your are right, it would have a cool zebra feel to it!

If its okay with your wife to feature her sweet ride on the day we would love have it included We will be making personal contact with all those who have offered well in advance to confirm all the details. Hopefully we can catch up and have a chat before then too. I would like to get out on more cruises etc but all spare time/money is been thrown at our big day!

Tyson, if only it was white it would have been perfect considering the tight parking space at the venue :laughing-smiley-014: We both really like 83ECK's (straight!) R34; if you're available Beck it would be very much appreciated (insert begging here!)??? Thanks for the offer on your R33 but we would prefer to have all white cars on the day. If we fall short and decide to mix up the colours we will let you know. Andy, we would be stoked if you are available to bring your "Godzilla" on the day . I am not familiar with your car so can you post a picture of your R32?

Guys & gals, we are getting married in June and request the attendance of a 32, 33, 34 and a 35 (hopefully!!!) to round things out. GTR's of each model would be perfect but not essential if your car is suitable. The only stipulation is that all cars must be white so as to compliment my 31 coupe. We are getting married at The Glen Hotel on the corner of Logan Road & Gaskell Street, Eight Mile Plains. Time for the ceremony is 3pm so we would need to have all cars onsite no later than 2:30pm. After we are hitched we will be positioning all cars in model order on the grass for a photo shoot. The photographer wants us to then head to the Mt Gravatt Lookout for some sunset shots and there may be another 1-2 locations (TBC) around the local area which we may/may not need the cars for. We expect total time needed would be 2hrs. Its still 5mths off so we will confirm details for you well in advance. Payment for your attendance is professional hi-res photos in digital format. I work for a digital print company so I will also print you a 200gsm gloss A2 sized (420mm x 594mm) laminated poster of your selected shot. For a small fee I can arrange to have a larger poster printed up to A0 (841mm x 1188mm) and for extra I can even print onto canvass. Obviously your car must to be straight and clean. If you are able to assist please post a pic of your ride. We appreciate that this is a work day for most and may mean hours off work so we thank you all in advance and look forward to you making our day really special. Regards, Andrew & Amanda

John @ Brisbane Tuning & Turbo in Woolloongabba have done excellent work on my HR31 and there is always 1 or 2 Skylines in the workshop. Its probably one of the closest tuners to Greenslopes too.

Spotted white R33 (DBZ33) in the car park outside Bi-Lo Mt Warren Park @ 6:45pm. Just wish I had the phone with me to prove how paranoid one can be in avoiding those nasty shopping trolley dings - literally straddled 2 car spaces :laughing-smiley-014:

No mention of wanting a HR31 but offering mine if needed. I was going to be posting a similar request for my own wedding on June 25th (3pm @ The Glen Hotel, Eight Mile Plains) so would be happy to help you out if could return the favour? I was needing a white 32, 33 & 33 (a 35 may be pushing it!).

Sorry Ash, was busy yapping with the fiancee and didn't have time to wave back once I saw you. We live on corner of Mt Warren Blvd & Rochester Drive so I see you and 20+ Skylines each day pass my front door, usually on boost out of the intersection which is very entertaining especially when its been raining. The wife-to-be never used to notice Skylines until she met me 3yrs ago and now she knows each model nearly as well as I do! I only get my HR31 coupe out on the weekends, usually to run her to work, visit friends or for a run up the highway and attend a number of R31, Boost & SAU cruises. Promise to wave like a lunatic next time I spot you

Spotted 83ECK at the Bio Gas petrol station on Rochester Drive Mt Warren Park around 6:20pm as I walked home off the bus. Was the lucky bugger driving it your man - very jealous!!!

Yep the vans a real head-turner (NOT) just borrowed it for the night so back to catching the train tomorrow. You may see another van in the same area (company has two of them) but an ugly bugger drives that one so dont wave to him! Hope to see you in my 31 coupe soon

Went there 2wks ago after a family friend told me about it. I knew it was mainly hot rods, lots of "Yank Tanks" & Holden/Ford V8 bangers - I enjoy looking at other peoples rides, especially the oldies. Had a lot of strange looks for turning up in the HR31 coupe (still a classic!!!), even had a thumbs up from one young hottie but I did have some bogan yell "get it outta here" as I was leaving. Been there, done that, not going back any time soon...

Hi all, the name is Andrew & I am the very proud owner of a '87 HR31 GTS coupe. I am the original Australian owner (coming up 10yrs) and very proud of it. After a marriage breakup a few years back I dumped thousands of dollars into a heap of performance upgrades - call it horsepower therapy! Well, it worked but I still want more!!! Having become disillusioned with the QLD chapter of the R31 club (must be an age thing; I think the average age is 21 going on 12 ), I am looking forward to meeting fellow Skyline/Nissan enthusiasts. Hey Ryan There is a guy in the R31 Skyline club called Kevin Rowley who has done exactly the same conversion as you into his coupe. In fact its one of the hottest coupes around in yellow with volks including semi auto shift on the steering wheel.
