They probably didn't know you were broken down. I did a motor 228km from home and drove it home Then continued to drive it for about 6 months. It was fine, just a little harder to start, more sluggish and a bit smokey DO NOT KNOCK THE MIGHTY RB20.

Ring Just Car Insurance for a quote. Dale, I honestly get what your saying but his hands are tied as to what he can get. If I took into account the initial cost, mods + insurance money on my 32 GTSt over 4 years I've owned it I could have bought a mint 33 GTR... Likewise people with a 32/33 GTR could have bought a 34 GTR after a period of time. Cars are not something that makes good money sense, but we love them anyway.

Even taking all this into account, I still think if it was me and I wanted a Skyline, I'd buy a Skyline. It makes economic sense to buy something cheaper, but if thats all we were worried about, none of us would be here.

What about a R34 GT-FOUR? Non turbo for license reasons, but full GTR style driveline (4WD, etc), starting building a RB26 to drop in when you're ready and have a pseudo GTR! Edit: Or even a R33 GTS-4.

I'd just wait. Also note that spending like 1k on performance mods to a non turbo one will have the same effect as a $30 bleed valve off eBay and running an extra 2psi through it... But if you really can't wait, looks like you'll have to settle with a non turbo. Edit: adding a turbo to a non turbo one won't make it gt-t spec either. Brakes, gearbox, often interior, just to name a few are different.

Im sure you are smart enough to figure out why its dangerous. Does it kick down other gears as it should without delay? I reckon the box might be on its way out, perhaps drop it into an automatic's place and get them to take a look. But as Krishy said, the ultimate solution is to get a manual cog swapper.

I had 2 family rooms booked, with a total of 6 people. 1 has pulled out, and another one may. So pretty much yeah Steve, if the second person pulls out too.

I'll wait and see what happens on Thursday, if the particular person pulls out, I will cancel the second room, if they dont, I will find 1 more person and we will be sweet. Either way, I wont be out of pocket, but indecisive people may be without a bed.

Hey guys, just putting an EOI out for accommodation. $130 for 3 nights ($43.33 per night) of accommodation at Country Comfort Shepparton, shared in a room with 2 other people (everyone gets a separate bed). At this stage 1 spot is availible, potentially 2, will know for sure about the second on Thursday. Need to know ASAP, because I may be cancelling one of my 2 booked rooms due to people pulling out.

My guards were rolled by Scandyflick using a mallet and heat gun, far cleaner than many 'professional' jobs I've seen. Results always differ, but I didnt have any paint cracking.
