i would stay clear of that one. Although it passed compliance, it has had minor accident history. Bonnet is diffenately been replaced and a few other bits and peices. The guy sells everything at or below cost price when he doesnt get rid of it within a few weeks, so it doesnt surprise me its going this cheap.

bullshit. He's selling it cause it was stolen along with 2 other R34's at the same time and all have had their VIN's and engine's swapped. He knew it was dodgy, and yet still bought it when we all told him it was dodgy. Now the cops are going to take posession and he'll loose it all. If something is too cheap, then there is usually a reason.

I now own a supra RZ and a daihatsu mira as a daily and the mrs drives her echo. Add to that the latest cedric and the black cedric a 350K mortgage and a baby coming in 5 months and it equalls a lot of car expenses! Especially since the wife wont be working for a few months after the birth. Plan is to sell the new cedric for 12Kish and buy another to put the box in the black cedric. Then when its on the road sell the mira and drive the cedric as a daily. I will most likely advertise it for 20K and see what happens. If it doesnt sell, then i wont care. This project has cost me well over 30K so far. I hope to get at least some money back.

Thats exactly the same as mine. So, you can buy mine instead. Slight gearbox issue, with it being in peices, but still a bargain!

anyone want some fluid for your tranny? http://www.tds.castrol.com.au/pdf/2701_tra...xj_b1650_03.pdf3 These tranny's recommend the J Matic fluid, which this castrol stuff is meant to be for. Apparently only comes in 3x4litre packs or Repco recon its a 20L drum.

just complied the new Cedric "parts car". Needed some new trimming on the A-pillar and an auto fluid change, but apart from that she's running brilliant! Its got the Cima style dropping centre section of the passenger seat so the rear passenger can throw his/her legs through! Heated seats, reverse sensors, cruise control, electric everything. Only 4 things from the factory options its missing. Leather seats, reverse camera, sunroof and xenons. It will be sold for a bargain, not to decrease the price bracket of these wonderful cars, but so i can find another box. The black one is still on the hoist and im sick of seeing it with half its guts out. Check the for sale section in a few days and you might see a bargain of the century! Ben

HAHAHAHA PS - I run Rivercity compliance and work next to the owner of East Coast compliance - The only 2 workshops to have them. It's amazing how unpopular they are at the moment. I give it 4 months and there will be a nice big forum all for us looney tunes.

yeah mate. Press the sound button. Then scroll completely over to the right and you'll see an option for front speakers, rear speakers and all at the bottom. Im pretty sure after that you adjust fad and balance further along as well. I'll have a look again tomorrow for ya

a common issue with these cars is the bonnet hinge. RHS: 65400-AG000 LHS: 65401-AG000 I can get them ex japan for $40-$50. I got 2 RHS hinges on order. 1 for me and 1 for kristian's ex car.

my parts car has arrived. Virtually no damage at all. Definately no front or rear accident evidence like i thought it would have. My plans are to have this car's engine and transmission swapped into my black beast. Then the black's engine will be put into this car without a gearbox. My plans are to then sell it as a complyable car for dirt cheap with no gearbox. I have access to a 300zx so for 10K you could have both cars and throw the 5 speed into it and have the worlds 1st manual cedric for under 15K total. Anyone want a cedric and a 300zx? Glad to know you have owned a porsche mate, cause you'll need the cash to fix up the CVT. I wish i could justify spending >50% of the purchase price of the car to get the auto fixed. Im sure the astra box didnt cost half the price of the car! The insides are soo precise and clean that if anything at all breaks, even a 5c washer, you will be sure to break everything. And to top things off, when something does break, you cant just order a new part as Nissan do not stock anything for it. To buy a new automatic from Nissan is $28,000 AUD because they will start a production up and build you one. The extroid CVT is a brilliant box and I can see why it was voted best box in the world at the time, but 100,000kms later and after some lazy, poor japanese owners have thrashed it, its bound to be problematic. +11 litres for a full flush. 8 litres will cover it when you remove the sump and filter, but its best to flush unless your old oil looks good.
