Hey guys any help here would be appreciated. I did a search but didnt find what i was after. What is the going price for a bosch 040 pump and where is the best place to get them from. I was hoping to get it locally if possible. I tried a mate at repco and he said he could get me a 044 at employee price for $460, they dont normally stock the 040 but they said they would ring bosch and see what they could do for me, havent heard from them yet. My old man had an original mini cooper 's'. Used to run 14:1 comp. Easily outran the old valiant cop car at Strathalbyn. Had to run the thing on a methanol mix and used to do big ends on a regular basis by revin it to hard. Awesome cars but, When i was in malaysia i found they brought big money, $30k + for a real mint one, the people over there love them.

I can drive dads turbo diesel land cruiser any time i want.........500x300x75 intercooler out front, 3 inch stainless exhaust an 13 pounds of boost.......gross vehicle mass 2500kgs .....flat knacker 4100rpm startin to get into the red, top gear =170kmhr......add one 1500kg boat =150kmhr and still goin.........yyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhaaaaaa........can a gt2 do that. You should see the look on some peoples faces when you pass them at that speed with a boat. lol .

Yeah if its still plugged in budy the factory ecu will still be in control of boost, giving you that raise in boost at the end of the rev range. Why your getting less than 10psi on a 10psi actuater spring is beyond me. Are you measuring boost in your car at the manifold? Remember by the time boost passes through intercooler, etc you will lose a few psi. Other than that im not real sure mate.

Bear in mind, i do believe, the factory ecu controls boost and adds a few psi in the last 2000rpm of the rev range, do you still have the vacum hoses plugged into a solenoid near the power steering fluid resivoir on the passenger side strurt housing?

Im looking for 240-250 rwkws, if 2540 or even 2535 could do that with a reasonable spool up time id be happy. 270rwkw though is an awesome figure for 25 series turbo.

There a bit like an extra set of driving lights mate, on my series 2 there is another switch on the indicator stalk to turn them on. Dont know if yours would be differrent.

Ever noticed how much room there is between the upper suspension arm and a 17 inch wheel on a 33gtst, not a hell of a lot, i know 18s fit but i would love to know the clearence between said suspension arm and tire of 18 inch wheel.
