  12. Tonight I'm having some of this Ardbeg Uigeadail one of the great and powerful but certainly a tasty SM At 54.2% I've added some water to stop the harshness of the Whisky from confusing my taste buds and palate Been sitting with glass watch cover for about 20mins (this one takes some time to open up) I'm expecting large amounts of peat and smokiness Just had a taste then. Nose: peat smoke with fresh sea salt mist (has the smell of the sea shore at an old fishing peer) Palate: EXPLOSIVE (as the most first tastes are but this is really powerful) Second taste - spicy and peppery as the alcohol tingles the mouth and throat but you get a hint of sweet dried fruit like fig and raisins Finish: smoke, old burnt wood / BBQ smoke but not the suffocating type more a long and comforting ride in the country side next to a bond fire Very moving single malt
