  1. Ash, you seem to live in fairy land: http://www.tunercalcs.com/ My car stock dry is 1530, add 50kilos (full tank) add 110 fat bastard in driver seat = 1690 kilograms (3718 pounds), plus 380 horsepower @ wheels gives a rough 12.459, which almost spot on to my 12.346 odd, maybe I overestimated my fuel weight, or lighter parts from stock or whatever. If you then select the estimated horsepower from trap speed http://www.tunercalcs.com/hp-from-quarter-...trap-speed.html and put in 3718 pounds and 110 MPH you get 386 hp or 288rwkw, Xspeed says I have 380 rwhp If you were getting 110 mph with 220 rwkw, your car's gross weight must of weighed 2850 pounds or about 1300 kilograms which is pretty light
  2. if it helps, mine with GTSS's yesterday evening did a 12.3 @ 110mph, with only 15psi boost, and 18 inch re-01's and a 1.805 60'. Oh and the track temp was 38 degrees and into a 13 knot head wind too. A little more boost, a better launch (ie a 1.6ish 60') and 17 inch tyres should see well into the 11's!
  3. ^^^haha Dan, that's what I was thinking, either that or a real bad case of the DT's
  4. if steering surround falls through, can you post me a pic of top and sides and ill buy
  5. i sold my pair off 1997, with 58000 for $150 plus del
  6. Ash, I am pretty sure he was talking at the wheels power, we are not in the UK, I thought everyone talks in rwhp. He talks about 250kw on a dyno, I doubt very much he was talking about a dyno read out saying 250kw at the motor
  7. Mmmm Anahera Nom Nom Nom
  8. dont listen to Nismoid, if you want 500rwhp, -5's, if you want 400 to 430rwhp (MAX AT A BIG PUSH, HI PSI, HEAPS OF HEAT, NOT REALLY EFFICIENT), then -9's (GTSS's) will be perfect. -7's are smaller than -9's (just)
  9. cool Dude, Simon
  10. thinking of going down this Wednesday to see what the car is able to do on current (run in) tune before I get a final tune next wednesday. Is anyone thinking of going? I will be in the silver series 3 33 GTR, come say 'hi'
  11. cheers Ill get xspeed to check out what the HKS ones are rated to and let you know
  12. mate, I have just had the same thing happen only with an Apexi oil temp running through an Apexi controller, I was driving along and all of a sudden after less than 5 minutes (so probably impossible for oil to get that high) the Apexi is reading 130 degrees, the warn light is buzzing away but the dash oil temp is not even reading yet (as is normally the case it takes about 10 minutes to get to temp). All other temps pressures etc are fine. Turned out to be a dodgy earth on the sensor. Probably just that on yours but pays to get it checked out asap. At 140 degrees if you stopped and took off the oil filler cap, she's be smoking
  13. make that 2, I want one as well!
  14. sorry could not resist
  15. how do you do that? i thought the heavy duty ones (the same that you buy for 2530's should be able to hold 18psi to redline?
  16. well I cant wait for the next one, and Bubba, I concede your statement! haha
  17. I should have said that the top boost line (the one that looks like it is holding 17psi is my hand writing which I used to explain and ask why my boost did not stay there. The true boost starts at 17 ish and then dips to 15 and holds steady, this is the problem I am asking about REV210
  18. bump anyone else?
  19. sorry mistyped, $1600 - as per phone call
  20. get them to fly over to Perth then and use my car and x-speed's dyno, i have my knife and fork ready and I have my salt and pepper out to season my keyboard
  21. JOhnny I have 283 RWKW from my SS's (-9's) and if that is all you are after, they should be what you get because there is no lag at all and at 4,000 rpm the car takes off and pulls to 6,500 but then seems to not keep pulling harder and harder which is what I want and which is why i need 2530 (-5s) but if you are only seeking the 250 to 270 quoted the (7's or 9's) should do it awesomely: FYI only Dyno1.pdf dyno2.pdf haha the line on the boost that does NOT taper off but stays at 17 psi is my hand writing trying to ask why my boost will not stay on that line! the GTSS kit came with the HKS heavy duty actuators so I cant figure out why it is doing it, must be something to do with the EVC6 settings. Even if I set my boost to 18psi I have not seen more than 17.2 although I have not been hard on anything more than 3rd gear (cos I do not want to lose my license and am waiting to go to the drags next week) Paul... nice try, but not made of money, if you or Ben from Racepace or anyone else that knows anything about getting 330 SAFE rwkw from a GTSS set up on a stock bottom end 26 comes to WA, ill politely interrupt your holiday for a few hours and fill you up with beer, wine, soft drink and food and take you out for the night
  22. well next time someone from over east can tune a perfectly good strong RB26 with all the necessary mods and GTSS's flies over here, ill pay for the dyno and a few hours of their time (I know it is on holidays time) to get me 330 SAFE RWKW on my GTR and then ill eat my f**king keyboard
