the lS1's are a chev, the 6 litre LS2 and L98's are also chev's. If they have a chev motor in it, why not put a chev badge on it, I am not really getting the problem here, if they have a 5 litre then that is gay, the V6 is a buick V6 not a chev so also gay. They also sell the GTO coupe in america as a 'chev'

rofl at this thread, shame the tard got booted -
I am interested in this as mine is also dropping off albeit on GTSS on a 26, but the same question ponders, I am going to replace the EVC6 to see if it is defective failing which I will wind up the HKS actuators to set them at 14 psi (currently at 11) so the evc only has to hold 4 psi above the actuator pressure rather than 7. I hit and about 18ish for say 1,000 rpm and then as with the above, it tapers off a couple of psi down to low 16's.

Mate STFU you have no idea, whether there is a breach of section 52 is whether the statement is misleading or deceptive or likely to be mislead or deceive the consumer, intention pays no part and the lack of intention to mislead or deceive is certainly not a defense! So before you start saying there is no legal case to answer, ask a lawyer, and he will tell you this guy is f**ked in the arse if the ACCC got wind of it or if some else decided to commence legal proceedings against him. The relevant facts are: 1. his conduct was in trade or commerce, 2. it was false, it was misleading and that is that. Loss is not even a factor! PS I secretly believe Jim is gay, I have never EVER seen so many references to gay, poof, ask f**king etc in one thread from one poster!

dood, 2 bar of boost, you wanna hope it has been tuned to run that type of boost, even if it is only for 400 metres, could be the slowest time ever if it lets go within the first 60', what turbos and internals has ya 26 got to handle 29psi?

the liability to pay tax on your earnings rests with you mate as you have to declare it in your income tax return. If you choose to work for cash (lucky you if you can I am spewing about the ludicrous amount of tax I will pay this year) then you already have an advantaged over not giving 30, 40, 45% to the taxman, so you cannot be too aggrieved about not getting a hand out. On the other hand, I am f**king pissed, I have paid over $60k in tax this year so far and I aint getting shit, who the f**k paid for all these handouts in the first place....... its bullshit

buy mine, car has done all of 2,000 kms since XSpeed built and tuned it, owes me a shitload that I will never get back, but priorities change pretty much overnight (well in my case in about 2 mins - I am sure you get my drift )

Nissan R34 Gtr Vs Nissan 370z
R33GTRKid replied to Turbo Piston's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
i have a 07 350Z and a 97GTR bombed off its tits.... The Z handles like a go kart and is an absolute dream to play countersteer games for as long as you like, it has very precise handling with the VSC switched off, but hands down the GTR gets my pick when I want some real fun. If the 350Z had maybe double the power my opinion MIGHT change because it handles very well but is so slow compared to the GTR -
Cost Of A Tune - Does This Sound Right?
R33GTRKid replied to Mr Cali's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
power fc is not a piggyback mate, they take your factory ecu out and replace it, it is a standalone ecu and therefore it, by definition, cannot be a piggyback, which intercepts and manipulates signals sent from the factory ecu. At the end of the day, if you aint happy with the price, take it elsewhere, this guy obviously has a reputation for doing great stuff and I am sure he is booked out in advance so he aint gonna miss your 1200 -
Cost Of A Tune - Does This Sound Right?
R33GTRKid replied to Mr Cali's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
dialing in the cams properly is a time consuming process, make an adjustment, tune, power check, repeat until no more gains, x 2 for two cams and you get the idea. I have spent 1500 on tuning and about to go another 500 to perfect so 1200 is good price. 600 would be a very basic tune at 160 odd an hour from scratch -
simple contract law defines that you do NOT HAVE TO sign any other agreements beyond your original agreement because Nissan are seeking to vary the terms UNLESS your original contract provided that Nissan could vary at their leisure but arguably such a clause would void the original contract for uncertainty. Secondly, if you do not want to sign a variation to the original binding contract you have in place, tell them to piss off and tell them you will sue them for specific performance if they try to do anything other than deliver the car in accordance with that contract. If you have now changed your minds, and Nissan insists on putting in new terms, tell them that their conduct amounts to rescission of the contract, which you will accept and elect to terminate. Finally, at least in WA, if you enter into a contract to purchase a new motor vehicle and that vehicle is not delivered within 3 months of the contract date, you can terminate without penalty Arguably you can rescind the contract for a number of other items, including: 1. the vehicle not being fit for the purpose it was bought for or is usually designed for; or 2. where the dealer/manufacturer has misrepresented any major feature of the car to the consumer and the consumer has relied upon that misrepresentation to enter into the agreement. This is wear possible Nissan can come into all sorts of grief with quoting times etc - it just needs someone motivated enough to run a test case, set a precedent and the gates of hell could possibly open up for Nissan. I would offer my services for free for anyone so aggrieved just for a bit of fun, you pay the legal disbursements and you agree upfront that I am in no way liable for any adverse costs orders that may be awarded against you in the event that Nissan successfully defend the case

About To Buy A New Car
R33GTRKid replied to R33-RB26DETT's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
ask him to provide you with a letter from his financier confirming the payout figure on the day of settlement. Contact REVS in your state to ensure that it is the same financier that has the encumbrance noted and that there is no others. Arrange for a bank cheque in the name of his financier and meet him at the bank that the financier deals with and hand deliver that bank cheque to the teller with the relevant account details. Give him the balance, that is how I have done it each and every time -
no i dont think you have to go to Court because excessive noise or smoke is a 3 demerit point infringement but you can have your car confiscated for it. The only hoon offences you would need to go to Court over would be the ones for reckless/dangerous because they cannot be dealt with by infringement

you are thinking about a sequential turbo set up like in a liberty, GTR's turbos run simultaneously, one feeds off exhaust from front three cylinders, the other off the three back cylinders, their charge is joined prior to entry through the intercooler, then into plenum, and fed into cylinders to mix and explode with ya go go gas

i can be in if car needed
