Ah well theres some confort there then meggala has all the answers Does running the turbo at high/low boost make any difference to petrol consumption?
-
Heh reading it now i wouldn't say bible, but its got some really handy info, very worthwhile keeping as a reference. 2 Things, HTF is he getting something like 10km per liter? Im my 32gtst i think i max at 400k keeping low reves... 2nd of all, The button on the digi climate control that closes and opens the vents (button with recycle air) is always off when ever i restart the car (this ****s me as the vents are always open), is there any quick fix?
-
Ure going to have cravings to have it again now When i first got mine, middle of the nite i'd wake up and think "cars is just outside...hmmm i wanna take it for a run" Hills have my vote as well.

http://www.nismo.com.au/More%20Pics/r32%20...0gtst%20bar.jpg thats the "bomex" bar UAS. Its kind of similar, but not exact, and this in particular doesn't do alot for me...Ill speak to some ppl later this week and see if they have any ideas where i can pick 1 up from. The next option is to buy from here, http://www.takakaira.com/php/template.php3...p3?id=538&cat=1 though the bar you like, comes in at 2k

Thanks for the responses guys... Ive gone through it all and found 1 of the hoses was bent in a position to stop smooth air flow, and was also abit loose. Ive fixed it since and we're running good now
-
heh figured as much When i cliped a gutter, it smashed the front part off, and at the time i through it away...now ive found out that its easily fixed...Anyway, let me know how much it costs to get sprayed

As the topic says, mine is damaged, Its a stock r32 '92 gtst. Stock sideskirt (1 peice), in silver if possible
-
Everybody makes mistakes. I was doing something stupid (speeding), im sure every1 else that has damaged their car thinks the same about what they did. As far as we know, hes only damaged his car, not any1 else's, so i think its a valuable experience . You will be in a similar situation at some point, ease up.
-
I did the same in my r32 Cost me round 800 for everything to be repaired (lots of parts, rim repair, new tyre etc). However nows a grinding chunky sound coming from that side, so yes ;D

Hey... Noticed tonight my car felt abit slugish. I noticed when i flat line it, it hits 1 bar, then instantly drops off down to round .5bar or there abouts. From what i remember, it would hold 1 bar all the way before hand, no dramas. Im running a r32 gtst, stock turbo with a turbosmart boost controler, set to both .5bar and 1bar... Any ideas?

Well a box rebuild is coming even faster... 1st and 2nd either go in fine, or i really have to jam them. Can't reproduce the problem consistenly just happens for no apparent reason. Some1 mentioned the gates might be dead? Meh this is going to rip me for $$

Hey Meggala, Just curious in regards to "gearbox rebuild with new syncros for 700-1k", my 4th is rooted, and the gearbox is abit rough/slow. Is 1k common for this? Ive looked around already and am being quoted *much* higher...
-
Hey thanks for the reply, I got my car back yesterday, they put a new flywheel in. The old 1 was unbalanced and aparently dead. With the new wheel in, the clutch is *much* easier to handle, and has alot more play room. In regards to idling then the clutch slipping, i tested it a few times last nite and all seemed good, so fingers crossed ;P
-
Hey, Got a new clutch put in by CAS, and had a few problems since. Its gone back to their shop though just after a few peoples opinions... I had a clutch put in to handle 250rwkw, not sure what type/brand. Gear changing is very rough, no matter what i do, went for a ride in a r33, and gear changing was beyond smooth, you virtually couldn't tell the difference between changing gears, should i expect this in my r32? The friction point is round an inch from the clutch being fully released, there isn't any play, it simply grabs and thats it last problem ive noticed, is if i cruise for say 20 min, idle the car for 15 while i talk to mates or something, the clutch will slip to the ****house after that... Any suggestions on what i should be expecting?

Ill put down my $$ for Hills. I recently had an overpriced clutch put in by CAS, wasn't impressed to say the least, so i had it taken to hills after having an issue with a gutter Basicaly CAS didn't but some of the bolts back into my gearbox, hills said they lifted it on the hoist and the gearbox was flapping all over the place "****en great" came to mind , along with a few other gearbox/clutch problems. Overall dealing with Mark and some of his employees yesterday, i couldn't be happier (apart from sometime being busy), they're all great blokes and ill be going back everytime.
-
My baby got towed over to Hills today, so far can only speak the highest of them. Only minus is the call backs (not happening) but guess they don't have enough time as it is, so its all good Mark gives a good impression of knowing his **** which makes me feel confident about leaving it with them.
