You might want to get the rollers checked if ure getting tints. From what ive read, within the doors there's metal rollers that help guide the window. As these age, they begin to scrap, leaving shit marks on ure windows... Im sure some1 else can explain it better

I was driving in a huge industrial st, and doing 36k over, for 2 seconds, the rest was probably round 20k....i got jacked by an undercover in an ss (no no to doing a runner when theyre behind u)....Seriously could tell the point of it was "im going to teach this little shit a lesson", i couldnt have been nicer/more apologetic about the whole thing....honestly wanted to go round and belt the prick after......2 seconds of unintentional speeding, bye bye license 3 months...another fun lesson of being young and owning a skyline.... 1 other thing that came to mind for every1 else thats suspended, or expects to be, is that while being suspended, ure not covered by insurance (other than say theft etc)...so, drive while being unlicensed, and u risk 1 year? if po po catch u, hit something, and ure going to be broke for abit...

Im thinking you guys think i got caught while being disqualified. What happened, was i got hit for 45k and over in nov. The ticket never went through, as in i havn't had anything sent to my house etc. The cop on sun said that as well, "ure lucky it didnt go through on our systems", yet he knew about it, so i take it must be listed on the police internal systems (?) eg when they log calls? So i was never *offically* suspended, and now i got hit with this. Clear things up at all?

Fill me in on how ppl have calculated 1 year? There was an old fine which never went through (despite paying it), that was 3 months, so nfi whats happening with that. Now this 1, for 30k+, which is also 3 months. So im thinking, it will either be a. 3 months for this b. 6 months, 2 fines of 3 months c. 3 months with the 2 over lapping... So with 2 ppl saying "yeh ull be riding the bus for 1 year" has kinda got me worried...please explain

I got hit for 30k (peak speed was 36k+) over the limit yesterday (3m sus. 550 fine). This was in a huge industrial zone. Was just driving normally, shifting at 2500/3k, not even thinking about speed really. Under cover SS rams in my arse, thought he was going to check out the car for mods/check to see if it was stolen. Turns out that wasn't the case... The bit that shits me, is he said my peak speed was 36k+, so that would have been for a few seconds as i came upto another car, most of the other time i wouldn't have even been doing 20+. Tried pleaing with to reduce it to an under 30k fine, but he basically said stiff shit... I didn't think undercovers had radar? Say im already awaiting a 3m suspension, and now i have this 1, does that make it 6m, or...?

My headlights ****ed up again...****en mad.

Ok, first things first, this is not a 10 minute job Ater ripping everything out, i cleaned up the contacts by sanding them down, spraying some wd40 on them and put it all back together. Everything seems to be working ok so far, so ill see how it goes over the next few weeks. Thanks to every1 that provided info

How do u remove the switch? When taking a look i could see no way, other than pulling it off, while that may have worked, i wasn't sure if this was the way?

I was driving round that part last nite on my way out, windows down, system up, and hwy patrol did a pretty impressive u'ie (smoke and all) and flew right into my arse. Came to the lights (with the system down...off really ) he put his window down, mine went up and he left me alone. Was pretty stunned to see him turn off as the lights went green, though I think they checked my plates to find i was a local. On the way home, cantbury rd/newbridge, (same place as i pulled a chase from hwy patrol last time ) had a nice worked soarer try to run me all the way...Displaying my self control (really just shit scared of getting chased again) i pulled back from running...only to then pass 2 hwy patrol and a paddywagon... On the up side, i hooned round the city a fair bit

Im with akira, point out to the cops that he called you, they can track that shit rather easily now. He may have called from a pay phone, but he may have also called from his landline/mobile in his name... As youve already realised, beef up on more security... Sorry to hear dude

I have the same problem. My front left works every now and then, ive swapped bulbs many times, which so far hasn't made a great deal of difference... Its really starting to shit me off, if the light doesn't come on, i bang the glass covering, and it will come on 99% of the time. My turbo timer has now ****ed up since last nite, (won't keep car running), so im thinking ive got an earthing problem somewhere. Any tips on how i can check, a. earthing (where and for which part) b. the switch for the headlights The other bit thats pissing me off, is im using the globes that cost $50 for 2. Now when these go pop for no reason after a day... Im running a pretty powerful amp, could this have anything to do with it? (the headlight was giving me shit b4 all this went in however).

Well the diag. says nothing is wrong. Though FH/FC work as they should now, apart from that the air is just very cool regardles. Ill take a look tonight davehoos, thanks for the help every1.

for now yes...but what about when its cold? Anyway, I ripped out the climate control sensor (next to ure left leg) and all works correctly now, bar the climate control. I cleaned the sensor with wd40, hooked it up, no go. So looks like i need a new sensor Any1 have an idea on $?

After having a new deck installed, my a/c in on constant cold. While this is fine for now, ill eventually need heat With the temp either on 18c or 32c, the air is pretty cool. "FH" and "FC" doesnt make a difference, nor does the car running for an 5 minutes or an hour.... As I said, its only come about after having a new deck put in. Are there any sensors round that area that could have come out? Any ideas welcome

I got mine from autobarn, but ud probably be able to grab it from most places since its not soley designed for car use. I didn't have any intentions of cleaning my bay just yet, though when i cleaned up the bov (after reading the thread about it leaking) and seeing how well it worked, I began work Since I only had an hour b4 it was 2 dark to see properly, i only went round the struts, front, engine block and pipes. Alot more to be done, so ill see how it goes on the weekend. I didn't bother covering anything up, though i was very concious on the amount of water used and where it dripped. Since this stuff was so good, basiclly wipping it off with a wet rag was good enough in most cases. I let the car warm up for 20 mintues while i ate then went for a run. Everything was completely dry when i came home so its all good On another note, would any1 know what to use to make the black rubber seals, black again if theyve faded? I was thinking shoe polish but not sure how thatd work out Maybe that tyre black gel come to think of it?

I put mine back to stock tonight, and it fells better on both 8psi and 1 bar...more responsive for me....though i miss the sound

Are the BOVs the current model or the older style?
