Problem is, doesn't matter where you live, the burbs will never be secure. All you need is some guy walking past and they'll rob. They don't plan for it, it's driven by impulse. Whether or not they live in the area or just happen to be there is a minor factor. Unfortunately, it's a "wrong place, wrong time" situation; unless it's like the OP's story and it happens at your house - then it's a "shit happens" situation.

I knew our public transport system is shithouse but didn't realise it until I went to Europe. First time in London and I miss my train. After a bit of a self rage session, I looked up and saw the next one was arriving in 2 mins. And to the second, it was on time. This was the case for buses as well. And not just in England, but ALL of western Europe (didn't visit the east side). They don't sit around waiting. You're either on time for it or you've missed it. Here, people hold the door for their mates, inspectors think they own the trains. It's farrrked. Germany was cool. The u-Bahn is organized in such a way that switching trains becomes seamless. Your other train literally arrives same time as the one you're in. You get out, walk across the platform and take off. Not like the fkn city loop.

So, got the PS3 fixed by a repairman via a reflow method @ $85. Worked for a week and died again just last night. It couldn't have died at a worse time. I FINALLY bought a copy of GT5. Put the copy in and downloaded all the updates. After it started up, I thought I'd watch the intro clip cause it's "what I do". "My Garage" started loading and just as I saw a glimpse of some guy walking, YLOD #2. This time, I've decided to go through Sony. It'll cost me $175. They'll be providing me a refurb 120GB PS3 Slim because they no longer repair the old PHAT ones. I guess I can't complain too much since they're basically upgrading my console. Shame though, I really liked the phat ones as well. All my playstations have been the fat and bulky types. It's an emotional day for me... We've been through a lot.

Is thy because of the EULA thing or you don't like the game? Do I see a MW3 preorder coming??

It is a bit bs. But, is AUS included? I saw a couple of comments mentioning that it's not allowed in the EU.

The hole bug is on the ps3 version too lol. I was up playing until 1:30 as well. It's an addictive game and I hate myself already for downloading it.

Verdict, I like it. Need a bit of getting used to after playing cod for so long but the fun factor is there. Graphics on ps3 are a bit bleh but it doesn't affect the gameplay in anyway. Can't comment for pc.

Installing the beta on PS3 now... will see how we go. I'm expecting huge frame rate issues lol

New "Spec 2.0" major update is arriving. Although Yamauchi has not given any insight on what the update involves, it can be assumed it will include improved/tweaked physics and hopefully some additional HD models of "standard" cars that look like shite to now become "premium". Scheduled release of update is 3rd week of October. As one user in the link commented, we're not sure if it's 2011 or 2012. Going by trend, I'd say it'll be out 2014, maybe 2015...

I liked the matrixed reality mod. For an amateur mod, it was very well executed. The constipated look was classic lol. They had changed the actor in mp2. He's also the guy they're using for mp3. Apparently there will also be a multiplayer mode, although I don't think it'll be any good;

Great work Graeme!! I know a couple of people with a similar disregard for road safety and I still don't understand why they aren't behind bars. The courts need a fixeruppa. On another note, despite the attitude of the police officer and as long as you haven't done anything extremely stupid, if you're nice to them, then you usually get let off if it's miniscule i.e. tyre screech. Is this something that happens with you Graeme? Sometimes, you do a random check but because the driver was a douche, it led to him/her copping a fine that they otherwise may not have received?

Scheduled for March 2012 release. The original was one of the first games to incorporate bitmap images flattened over 3D skeletons. It was the first to use awesome "bullet time" style gameplay. And, at the time, it needed some hardcore hardware to play at maximum settings. The mix of Noir story and comic cut scenes was a good combination. The best bit was that you could mod the game however you saw fit. The third won't be doing anything special like the above lol... but it seems like they're not rushing it either. Dead Island sparks sexism flap "Last night, a Steam user claimed to have uncovered a line of code in the PC edition of Dead Island referring to an in-game skill for the female survivor Purna as "Feminist Whore." The line of code can reportedly be found in Dead Island's .scr file. The sensor from the cat converter is a temperature sensor. As for the misfire, could be anything, from shit fuel to needing a new coil set. I say take it to a mechanic and get it checked. Might just need some new spark plugs. When's this game getting released? Can I pre-order?
