+1 lol how we going on those engine bay pics?
-
Haha dude i'm a very good and responisble driver. Whenever I go through a school zone or even see a child i dro pthe speed back to 25. You never know what could happen. If do any drifting or racing (not in my lancer of course LOL) it happens far away from people on private property, industrial estates, big open spaces, etc. Just becuase I live fast doesn't mean I have to die young. It's not like I get caught doing 250 in a 60 zone like someone i know who might read this (shame on you) And who said I have parents or any close family for that matter?
-
it won't let me edit my post so i'll have to repost asking can we get some engine bay pics? and perhaps some interior?
-
I live in south Australia, if I wanted to bring the car back here would it have to undergo any sort of inspection on change of state and/or would it pass these tests? (not a problem just things to be prepared for as most mods I put on it will be illegal)

Hey I have a 1996 Lancer GLXi which I am thinking of selling to boost my cash to get my skyline would you be interested? i'm only looking for like 3.5 (just had service, new tyres + whhel alignment and rego) it drives great so my close friends who have driven it say (one is a mechanic apprentice) but i'm looking to start my skyline project and yeha won't need the second car... I know it's none of the ones you mentioned above but it could be a cheaper car until you find something suitable so you have a car in the mean time. let me know if it's a possibility so I can borrow the company hi-res camera and take some pics for ya.
-
Hey would you be able to give me some info on what kind of tools I would need for this kind of project and just in general when owning a skyline? possible brands would be good also. Cheers.

Genuine Momo Steering Wheel
jukic.j replied to SKY 34's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
the lot was 300 before right? now without bosss kit how much for the steering wheel? -
Thank you my good man! this is indeed some of the specific comparisons and information I was looking for. Thank you both now that I have refreshed and seen another two posts um ok budget... this one is a little shaky at the moment as I will be borrowing most of the money. You see i'm not a good saver but i'm good at not spending money to pay back debts and my mother will be lending me the money. My original budget was to but an R33 GT-R for $21,990. I am however willing to spend alot less for a simpler model to build upon but would also perhaps be willing to spend a bit more depending on what for. The budget is also shaky because I will be buying a unit soon and am worried about the multiple investments even though both of my loans will be interest free... I don't want to dig myself too deep you know? My car soul screams for a 34 but frankly I don't like the look of them unless they are GT-R... Also I am a big fan of the wide bodykit so I could spend less on a 33 or 32 and put a 34 wide bodykit on it and it effectively has a 34 body anyhow i'm rambling a bit so i'll stop there.

Yea there must have been some glitch because it missed outon classic skylines and r32 is the title not a poll option... maybe I was just wasted Yea that first thing that will happen to my skyline will be removing anything heavy that doesn't need to be there, physically attached or not. what about my comment of being a street racer? If I don't become a driver in some form of racing I know I will just turn to street racing. My addiction needs quenching and my lancer is ...well... a lancer! so yeah that's the only reason I haven't fitted new brakes, coilovers and a forced induction system to start of my modifications. I can't wait to "OWN THE LEGEND". although I won't really own my skyline... It will own me. Oi if anyone is ever going for a cruise and they are looking for someone or have a spare seat to ride shotgun let me know (0400346056) I would love to go cruising but for one I don't own a skyline and secondly wouldn't want to be seen in my lancer give me a break though it's my first car and yes I did try to buy a skyline formy first car! Stupid "complications"... *grumble* *mumble*

Hey I have read my fair share about skylines but I want to get my hands on all the details I can to help me determine which skyline I should purchase. I will first let you all know that based on looks I like the R34 best, then R33 & then R32. One of those three models I shall be purchasing. This car will obviously become my project and recieve serious modifications so body style isn't really an issue as if I want a 32 to look like a 34 I will just get a kit as I probably would get a widebody kit on a 34 anyhow. I am under the impression that I should stick with a GT-R model but obviously the price goes up and what really are the benefits? two turbos? torque distribution? these things can be added at a later date can they not? Oh and sure the GT-R badge but that will be gone in a heartbeat if I park it on the street. Before you say anything yes I know these mods are expensive but that's not an issue here. expenses will be spread over time as the car is a PROJECT. The expected aim of the car is to end up top performance so most if not all parts in the car will need to be upgraded, that being said does it really matter what skyline i get? (don't tell me to be realistic. That's what i'm doing here getting my research done before I fork out tens of thousands for the least beneficial car. The aim of the car whilst general enjoyment of owning a skyline and modifying it to my tastes is that it WILL be top performance and does not require any modifications to be street legal although this WOULD be helpful to know which mods are and aren't. Ok that being said I need to know what the pros and cons of the 32, 33 and 34 gt-r and non gt-r would be. this can be anything from the size of the engine bay to the length of the wheelbase. Pretty much I need to know out of the skylines which would be best suited for top performance and modification according to the parts of the car you cannot really modify such as the body specifications of the car. Thank you sincerely, No bull-shit here please.

PLEASE LOCK OR DELETE I HAVE CREATED A NEW TOPIC IN THE APPROPRIATE SECTION. Sorry, my mistake.

ah we can dream at the possibility of a NFSU2 style world but it's not going to happen. not anywhere near people who could get hurt. you want this you need to think country and mallala fits the description fairly well even though it's pretty masic and unexploratory but I guess that's what cruising is for

Haha best call EVER Redback Yes thank you all and my hyper-active enthusiasm was quenched. I now am phasing out my pizza delivery job (which I only did at minimum wage because I got to drive all the time ) and have moved up in the world nowworking for a technology company called Grazer and the pay is better, the manager just left so it looks like i'll be getting a pay raise soon also! Still studying as I found the average wage I should be on after finish my degee is 120k + that's alot of upgrades / tyres hehe... I havea thread open about buying my first skyline so if you want to check it out and help me out please do! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bu...-o-t242051.html My mother should be giving me a loan soon so I can OWN THE LEGEND before I have the money. Also I might be buying a unit of my own soon with the first home owners grant and an interest free loan. Can't wait to get my skyline so I can meet some of you on the blacktop.
