  3. 1200 wet sanding meguirs metal polish
  4. They are Steel so you cant polish them
  5. 343mm seems to be the largest rotor the front caliper can handle without machining the the ends for rotor clearance - pad position is only a couple of mm above the rotor edge on the 355mm Enemie - if you are really keen pm with the cars details and the rotor size you want, i'll see if i can get a bracket to match machined to suit your choices and car
  6. Enemie - you'll need to decide what rotor size you want to run then get an adapter made to suit. Specialised Brake and Clutch in Penrith is hooking me up with the brackets and everything i need.
  7. not on those rims, but on stock 33gtst rims
  8. http://www.hitman.hm/emissions.htm
  9. oh, the DIY i saw had it permanantly installed at teh front of the car
  10. always wanted to make a tool similar to what the V8 supercar teams use to spread the pads in pad changes during endurance races.
  11. Its fine in the engine bay, there was a DIY of hooking one up permanently so you just connect the plugs when you want it to charge. I personally use a solar charging system with a panel mounted on the roof of the shed, costs a bit up front but thats where the costs stop.
  12. the fully seal gel batteries like oddysey or optima are legal "sealed" lead acid are not - these ones are called sealed since they dont require the addition/replacement/topup of fluid http://www.energymatters.com.au/renewable-...adAcidBatteries Sealed Lead Acid Batteries Sealed lead acid batteries are also known as valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries, recombinant batteries and often called maintenance-free lead-acid batteries. Examples of VRLA batteries are: Absorbed glass mat (or AGM) Gel cells The term term "seal lead acid battery" is misleading: a sealed battery would be a safety hazard due to overpressure risks the battery is overcharged. There is always a safety valve present, hence the name valve-regulated. Even the term "valve regulated" does not really describe this technology. These are really "recombinant" batteries. This means that oxygen evolved at the positive will mostly recombine with the hydrogen ready to evolve on the negative and thus prevent water loss. The valve is only a safety feature in case dangerous amounts of hydrogen are produced.
  13. please try an alternate stock ECU my old ECU was fried and i drove a car like this for 6 months lol - not fun looking like a tool revving your car at every set of lights. swap it out and see if you know someone with an stock ECU'd r33
  14. lower resistance in the new indicators you installed - hapens with led's mostly run a search for how to put in the resistors
  15. couldnt find anything on the actual brackets you mentioned but this is from the manual and should be helpful to you
  16. wire in a potentiometer find a brightness you like, get someone to measure the resistance the potentiometer is set at and install a resister
  17. sorted out the rear brake disks - gong alloy hat with standard handbrake - prob end up with 330-343 rotor on the rear front should be able to take a 343 or 350 mm rotor - this will depend on the internal clearance of the work meisters
  18. what?
  19. also the bells on the fuel rail should be checked
  20. was it plugged into anything? or just loose?
  21. hmmm - lots of talk and not much info on this conversion being finished anywhere. well im about to start for a 33 gtst - so will see how we go
  22. hahahah Ian, you're funny - straight answer from the RTA seriously though, if it has a compliance plate then it should be fine - blue slip will be required to check the compliance and the engine/chassis numbers match + normal roadworthy stuff.
  23. behind drivers headlight, at the bottom of the washer bottle - located at the base
  24. check the injector pulse with a NOID light also ensure the fuel lines are around the right way
  25. i want a paintball day - a way to get to know people without the cars. i believe that the JDMstyle tuning forum has its monthly meets that are somewhat "hosted" by companies some months. this could be something of a suggestion instead of dinners (most were weeknights so i enver went)
