Thanks guys, After consultation with the guru of all things Skyline, it appears that I am unreasonable man to expect that my car will utilize all the Nissan given functions. I will soon have an LTX-12 Microtech ECU complete with hand controller, laptop adaptor and software for sale. Apparently a great unit, if you don't want to run all the standard functions of the factory ECU. Unfortunately, up in my neck of the woods, finding someone who can tune them (Microtech) is harder than finding rocking horse ...t. I will soon post this in the for sale area but if anyone wants to make me an offer before then feel free to do so. Cheers Murray

You're probably right but there are quite a few other things that require various inputs that the M/T doesn't appear to do. For example, by deleting the AFM (not required for M/T) the signal that is generated by the M/T to the original ECU is not consistent and thereby causes continuous error codes not only with TCS but also in the engine management diagnostics. No knock sensor either. The M/T whilst obviously a great ECU for most purposes appears to lack a little in the finesse side of things. Cheers Murray

Can anybody tell me if a Power Fc will still allow all functions like ABS, TCS, HICAS, AC etc to function as normal? If so is this the same as other aftermarket ECU's? Any and all help appreciated. Cheers Muz

Clay, Each state in Australia has a Dept of Fair Trading (Queensland) or similar names in other states. Which state did this villian Dillon supposedly reside in? Let us know and I am sure that someone will be able to give you the contact details or you could search under each State governments web-sites for the relevent department. Failing all that try our Federal Police. Don't give up mate as worms like this give scrupulous traders a bad name. Cheers Murray

NizR34GTT, Yep I felt more info was needed as Bilstein are one of the better known brands and may definitely be worthwhile purchasing although I wouldn't mind a full set of Nismo "S" Tune suspension. Hey Keagle, Are you the silver skyline that has the big aftermarket bar, I saw leaving AutoBarn the other afternoon? Seem to be seeing a few more skylines around. It might be time to get together to have a chat. Saw a nice Burgundy R33 GTR at AutoBarn a few weeks back but I think the guys at Auto Barn said it was from Innisfail.
