Hi All, I'm having another go at posting this request now that I have achieved Full member status. I am chasing a set of Volk TE - 37's in Bronze. 17's ok ...... 18's preferred to fit an R34 GTT (correct offset required). Cheers

Has anyone gone to the trouble (expense) of fitting an after-market cruise control setup to their car. If you have please give me an idea as to what type you have used abd how much you have paid for it. Cheers Muz

Is it the same in all states? R34's have the highlevel light at the upper edge of the boot and not in the wing so this is obviously ok as we can get these rego'd

Doesn't the latest Microtech do that as well? All the info that I have manged to find on the LTX-12 indicates a simple "plug and play"

Interesting theme on lowering your car developing here. You boys should be glad that you have roads that allow you to get that low. Some of the pot holes up tis way are real wheel breakers (first hand experience) and I was only thankful that my car was at a height that didn't lead to more trouble.

I have recently seen a black R34 with the Skyline done in gold on the lower boot edge. Is this an aftermarket add-on and if so where can I get them?

Would another Nissan box fit? R34 GTR six speed or didn't a S15 come out with a six speed?

floody, I think if you check with Customs on this but I have done quite a few trips o/s and in all the info that I have read it states that if you are out of the country for longer than a certain period of time, (used to be twelve months) no duty was payable if you could prove ownership of the goods for that period. However as I said, check with Customs I'm sure that they will give you the correct information. Cheers

Oh! Sounds like a PFC is the way to go if there is someone around your neck of the woods to tune it. All the info on these threads seem to point towards the PFC as the ecu of choice. Post your consumption figures when you get it in and running. I'm not too interested in what power/torque it will make for you but the fuel consumption side is more of an interest for me. If they are as economical as these threads would have us believe, then I will have an LTX-12 for sale pretty soon. Cheers

I think that I have read just about all the threads on this forum about replacement ecu's and as yet can not form an honest opinion on which is better. The PFC certainly has a good reputation but is a little on the dollar rich side whilst the Microtech range appear to offer a good product at the less expensive price range. One thread started to talk about fuel consumption but nothing really substantial was forthcoming. Can anyone who has the PFC and anyone who is using the latest Microtech (LTX-12) please post some honest consumption figures. I think we all agree that both ecu's have the capacity to enable the engine to produce good hp results (when combined with various other mods) so let's see the consumption figures please. Cheers
