Yes I did the work myself it took 3.5 hrs to get the engine & gearbox out. It was 1800 just for turbo Sinergy quoted a new turbo for $4500 fitted.

Hi Cameron, I have only had one turbo. Hope ths one lasts. I got my turbo rebuilt by Bill at ATS (Adelaide Turbo Service). He pulls them down and sends the core to GCG for a rebuild then he puts it back together. Was about $1800. I know how to get the engine and gearbox out. I thought i was fast but the Victorians have got it out the quickest.

Yes I let about 20 owners know about the cruise. Ive said to them they should look at joining the club for more events and discounts. Also meet people with same interests. Hope you get a good turn out like the Stagea cruises. Wish to see plenty of photos

Try googling 6 pair there might be more results. Places like Jaycar, Aztronics RS components should have some cable. Ive seen 6pair down to 6.5mm with a quick look.

I swaped a rb20 box for a rb25 box and found the slave cylinder were different. I also had no pedal feel at first when I changed to a rb25box. The clutch and flywheel where all the same. After I bled it I still had no pedal feel. In the end I had to adjust the nut and pin that went into the master at the top of the clutch pedal. Wind the pin in until it hits the cyliner. Has your pedal any pressure or does it feel like its not even pushing the master pin in?

There is also about 3 chanels you could have one for winter and one for summer

Ive only had mine go red a few times. I guess its a fuel cut or boost cut. Would be fine I just turned my boost percentage down a couple of percen. So that max boost is a little lower but its like normal for the icy mornings.

Was it really cold outside that would give a bit more boost. Mine did the same thing the first time in winter it hit the boost limit set by the EBC

Or you could just do the dash conversion with a local radio and never have to fix the bose again. Also is your dvd rom under the glovebox booting up. That would input the screen.

Yes the slave should push the arm. I would suggest taking the slave off the side of the gearbox and see if it moves with out the arm in the way. That way you will know if its clutch or hydrolics. If its not the hydrolics then look at the pivot ball. Possibly a different clutch might sit further out so the fulcrum angle will change.

My brother had a story of a customer that was recomended to him so they took the car and was going to pay later then didnt pay the $1800. So he rang the owner and said sorry but there has been a recall on the parts fitted. So the owner bought the car back and at the end of the day my Brother wouldnt give it back until debt was paid. Legally they cant take the car until paid. You could try a few tricks like that might work.

Have you got the right slave. I changed my rb20det gearbox to a rb25det and I had to change the slave. Try adjusting the nut at the top of your clutch pedal where it pushes the rod into the master.

How did you jump start it? First place would be to check fuses. I can understand how the sound system & the air con not working they are on the same circuit. Its weird how the screen has stoped working at the same time. Have you tried all the dash buttons? Is the screen on and just showing black or is it stuffed. Those things all run off circuits less than 12v it dosent take much to spike them. Did you accidentlt touch the 12v to the chassis?
