  1. Is that the actual 360 you're looking at? I'd take it in a heartbeat. Much love!
  2. I saw a Vspec II Nur yesterday in Millenium Jade. Love the colour. Can't say i'm the biggest fan of blue/white. Black Pearl ftw!
  3. Thanks, guys. So who on SAU can get me some big brakes? Looking at all options..AP, Alcon, Endless, Project MU etc..
  4. I hope you're sitting down when you find out how much these bonnets cost! Matt - Looks like the TE37s need a little clean.
  5. Not sure where my introduction thread went, but here goes. Brand new Volk Racing TE37, 19x10.5, +12, Bronze. Still needs center caps and maybe some blue wheel nuts to match the valve stems. Couldn't call myself a real Volks fan without a set of TE37s. Haha. This is my 3rd set of Volks, and these TE's are friggin' awesome. They're bloody light, too. You can feel the difference through corners. I'm sure many people prefer the GTCs, but it was just too much bling for me. It was pretty funny when the guy at the shop asked me how much these 'chromies' cost me. Hadn't been there before, but they were cool and took care when removing/remounting tyres. Yes, i know TE37s have been done to death blah blah.. This is true, but it works so damn well with the R34 GTR. They were for sale (seller didn't even get to see them) and i jumped on it. Much happier with these puppies. They'll do, for now. I'm sure i'll have to try another set of wheels next year. Time to fulfill my dream and get some massive brakes under there. Then it's onto genuine Z-tune kit and retune for cams/hi-flow cat. Well, that's the plan.. Before: After: (The van is my daily. Couldn't leave it out!)
  6. Too good. Absolutely perfect, Matthew. Love TE37 in this size.
  7. I'm pretty sure Sean has an EJ207 in his car...
  8. Jealous. Pics of rims on the car, Matt. I'm dying here!
  9. Glad i wasn't the only one, Terry. Minor gripe anyway in comparison to the overall DVD. I'll watch it again tonight. Your car is looking very nice, mate. And now i can also put a face to the username!
  10. Watched it last night. Awesome DVD. Some seriously badass GTRs in there. Love how hard [JUN] archs up along the whole strip. My eyes hurt a bit when the frames quickly changed from varying cars at the Sema/TAS segment. Or maybe i was just sitting too close to the TV... Wish i could've joined the R34 GTR cruise!
  11. Matt, did i ever tell you how nice your house is? And how many sets of Volks do you currently have? Haha..
  12. Such a tease, Matt. I'm coming over to Melbourne soon to book a ride.
  13. Wow, the car looks amazing! Love everything about it. The new Volk G2s suit it well.
  14. The Evo IX doesn't feel that sluggish at low rpm, imo. It picks up boost pretty quickly (twin scroll and short travel between turbo/motor). My previous 2l STi had very little below 3k rpm, but the new 2.5l STi is better. It drives pretty smoothly, whereas the 2l came on boost in one bang. The Evo IX is still better, imo. My brother's Evo IX, with a few simple mods, is a weapon. STi has fractionally better ride quality than Evo. Both are still very bumpy. Evo is like a sharp shooter in terms of handling - very precise and on point. Certainly quite different beasts to drive. To me, the GT-R seems to moves around a bit through corners, whereas the full time awd cars you can just plant it and it'll pull you out. I'm happy with my GT-R. I enjoy it and feels more satisfying than the Evo/STi.
  15. Looks freakin' hard from the front. Decent power. Great job!
  16. Can't go wrong with those little rockets...My brother has a IX.I think it has about 220awkw with full exhaust, camshafts, fueling and tune. And the handling is pin-point accurate - the best part of the car. Enjoy.
  17. ^^ WHS. Looks out of place from front on. Like your car as it is, Darkchild - clean look. The canards would upset the flow if you ask me...
  18. So it's safe to say you're chasing a Mspec Nur, Eugene? You baller.
  19. The guy who got me my car sent me 4 Nur's in the email yesterday - some 2 Mspec, 2 Vspec II. I asked him to source some very clean cars, as a friend of mine was interested. They look to be mint condition cars with very low km. One has 10,000km. Still fairly pricey! Glad i bought mine at the right time.
  20. You certainly need to take your time to find the right one. This is the first Skyline i've owned, and i went through many, many cars before finding the right car that satisfied me. I am a pretty fussy person, too! Definitely try to do some research if you find a prospective car in Australia. There were a few i was interested in that seemed like a great deal, but after searching forums and speaking to people, you can find out some history on the cars. I remember finding out that one car i was keen on had actually been resprayed - whether it was because of an accident or not, i'll never know, but things like that are deterrents. I'm glad i was patient, because i found this immaculate car that has given me nothing but joy. Expensive as hell, but worth every cent.
  21. Huy

    R34s...please!

Looks tough. Perhaps some clear side-markers would finish it off nicely!
  22. Is it a local car? Any more info/pics we can see?
