  1. PMs Replied. Thanks. I forgot to mention that the RRP for the Alpine unit is $1,999. A great head unit. Cheers, Matt
  2. MY01 / V-spec II pedals: The Alpine INA-W900E (With GPS/sat nav and DVD player +iPod connectivity and Bluetooth) will be included in the sale price. The guys at Tunehouse at Marrickville have completed the most recent service on the car at 45,000km (2,000km ago) and have remarked that it is indeed one of the best examples of a mildly modified R34 GT-R they have seen.
  3. Only a matter of time before the true Today Tonight 'foot in the door' spirit escalated into something like that. The guy bought a 'dual cab VW ute' 12 years ago? Must've been a mid 90s T3 Transporter ute; my brother used to work on these and said there was hardly a car on the market built worse than those. They continually broke down.
  4. Thanks Reece. She's now up on carsales: LINK Reasonable offers considered.
  5. Sounds like a great night was had; couldn't make it due to work Great write-up Eric
  6. Full service history as listed in main post. Includes Jap auction papers and history from Japan. A couple more pics - scuff plates are like new:
  7. A couple of extra carbon fibre goodies: Genuine Nismo carbon pillar garnish Carbon fibre rear wing blade
  8. Great pics Theo, thanks for posting them up
  9. Nice one mate! I'm looking forward to seeing some of the more rare Jap cars! Can't believe the mileage! Good luck Luke, sorry to hear the news mate
  10. Thanks a lot Ken. Hope you're enjoying your V spec II Here are some photos of the side bolsters - little to no signs of wear: And some photos of the Daily Telegraph / Carsguide article April 17 2009 (featuring Terry!) one weekend before the SAU 10th Anniversary of the R34. Come and have a look guys!
  11. Thanks Daniel. Can you enquire about finance maybe?
  12. Awesome shots sidd, I reckon as a photographer at these sorts of events you have the perfect excuse to compliment women on their features while at the same time appearing genuine and not overtly hitting on them? "You have amazing eyes, never seen anything like em, I just have to take a photo of you!" "Brilliant, you're a natural! Have you ever had a photoshoot done before? No? I could do one for you if you're not busy next Saturday..." etc etc
  13. Thanks for the compliments Jeremy. I'll send you a PM re: the parts. Cheers, Matt
  14. Incredible collection Sidd. I have no idea which is which when you refer to things in the tank, but it looks spectacular! Must be a great chill-out room with that tank in it? Great for winding down after a long day at work, put some mellow tunes on, fall into a leather sofa with drink of choice and stare into the fish tank Hey Matt, if / when the new ride happens, your camera will be the first to get snaps of it (other than my archaic D70 of course).
  15. A few mentions on melatonin here. There's a lot of information out there on the supposed link between good melatonin levels in the body and reduced risk of cancer; does this mean there's a link between the natural sunlight we get (or are supposed to get) and natural melanin / melatonin production, and therefore reduced risk of cancer? Do people that do shift work or spend inordinate amounts of time indoors need to take melatonin supplements as a preventative measure? Frustrating for those of us who read the papers / watch TV advising us to slip slop slap, stay indoors etc but so many of us apparently are vitamin D deficient; so go outdoors and make sure you get some sun; just not too long... and so on.
  16. I noticed yours has had a new radiator and cooling system components; a lot of piece of mind right there as this was also a common maintenance item for the BMWs of this era - where the radiator neck joins the top hose, fan clutch etc.
  17. Oxfordgrün is, I honestly agree, a really nice colour. Better, IMO, than the Aspen silver which usually comes with the purple leather or Kalahari beige etc. How many did you look at before settling on this one? What were the usual problems you encountered? 13-14.5 is not bad at all; better than I was expecting. Our E39 530i does about 10-11 L/100 in town.
  18. Indeed. Thanks Wei. Contact number is 0404 495 329, sorry; forgot to include this in the original post. Cheers, Matt
  19. Actually I think it was closer to the ACT, near Collector and Lake George. But one should expect the Hume / Federal Highway / Highway 1 to be loaded with Hwy Patrol I think. Ambush on the highway... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo5cZhfsP2Y
  20. Great stance and rare colour!
  21. Looks nice Jamie. I've been looking into the '99-'01 E38s recently and would love a neat 740iL, would be after black or silver though. Yours looks like it's been well looked after though, from the pics. With the VANOS 4.4 these have some go too; 0-100 is in the low 7 secs from memory. What L/100km do you get in average city driving?
  22. Very nice rims! What would they fit? Stagea I'm assuming; but also 350Z / 370Z? might help your ad when people are using the advanced search. Free bump
