  1. LOL I actually liked the look Until....... What has been seen cannot be unseen Hopefully the police bike that watched me riding down the breakdown lane on the M5 yesterday cuts me some slack due to my bikes COVID-19 PPE compliance..
  2. Apples and oranges really. There will never be the hype for the new Z like the cult status of the 80-90's early 2000 Japanese hi-po Nissans. Plus you would be able to park the Z in the city and return 4 hours later and it would still be there, unlike a R32-33-34 GTR. The Z is a nice modern sports coupe which I would love as a daily, the Skyline GTR's are next level, but, require a lot of sacrifice.
  3. Works a treat Excellent quality Awesome price Do recommend Dart fly screen https://www.dartflyscreens.com/
  4. I don't like you and you don't like me because I'm not like you and you're not like me. #carbuddies4evasmileyface #didIgrammarright?
  5. Bźzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzxxzxxxx,xx,,,,,,x xzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  6. Excellent I see no downside to that at all. Blasphemy
  7. Nothing, there is only a limited supply, which gets shorter as time passes. Rust never sleeps.
  8. I've used them with my 25/30 build. IMO it has a better breather system and you can jam in some Mines baffles to improve it further.
  9. Nah, cannot be right, my VX SS weighs 1648kg
  10. Just looked at some side by side images with the Zupra. This makes the Zupra look like a Honda Civic boy racer car. How much to get into one, 60-65k???
  11. Tell them what it weighs son
  12. Found a R33 GTR, been sitting in the same spot at work for the last year, the owner has left NSW apparently, I've spoken to the local authorities about it, they are unable to contact the owner, it is getting close to being classed as abandoned and getting removed for disposal. If you own it you better take it, if you know who owns it, you better tell them that there are eyes on it. Mine included......
  13. Needed to spend some coin, so..... I ordered a billet high stall to suit the car. Told them 90% street 10% drags. After sending them my estimated hp/torque(360-337),cam (223 228), tyre (25.7") and gear ratio (3.91) they came up with some 2800+-ish locking stall converter thing with a clutch made from unicorn poop, all for $1130 fun tickets delivered to the workshop. Apparently it drives "pretty much" like a normal converter, until you hit the loud pedal. It is also alot more efficient at multiplying the torque, so, if all the unicorns line up, it should equal more power to the rear.......apparently The converter manufacturer was recommend by my local auto transmission guy in Liverpool, his shop is full of angry looking drag cars and muscle cars. Only down side is the 6 to 8 week delivery time, but, as it will be getting a trans cooler, but, transmission guy is still doing some homework on what is really required, rushing in isn't really to my advantage. Total budget???? About $2.5ish, drive in drive out, done and dusted. Shhhh, don't tell the Mrs.
  14. I've seen it at the finals at Eastern Creek. As for penalties, it depends on who you are from my experience.
  15. Sounds fair, although it seems that everyone cheats at roll racing, getting on well before the line in some cases. I suppose it is better than hitting it down the local off ramp or main road. Sign me up Meanwhile.... you don't have to "beat on" a car at the drags to have fun, limiter launches are not required to get a good representative time and trap. Whilst the Nissans are becoming collectable, and worth some coin, they are not made of glass. Get out there, I want to smoke some Nisans in my Bogan Cruise Ship.
  16. New track should be finished late Sept early Oct. I'm looking forward to thtowing the Bogan Cruise Ship down the strip. Maaaaad skids. To do list: Drag radials High stall
  17. SAU should run a drag day again. Lets all go Put me down for any race 4 real in October as a definite.
  18. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2002-mazda-mx-5-sp-nb-series-2-manual/OAG-AD-19100660/ Nice but...... I actually looked at a NB Series 2 today, pretty clean, under 100k km. It was a tad above of what I'm willing to pay at 13k though. I offered 10k which was knocked back, I'll have another go at it in a couple of weeks if it doesn't sell, and if I haven't found something else to drop my toy budget on.
  19. Much better than stock even with the OEM pads. Size does apparently matter
  20. The cost of consumables was a big thing for me, my Skyline was expensive, hell, gwarboxes were a consumable item in the end, my MX5 was cheap as chips.
  21. Might be the time And........tell me more about it, I may be interested for a sensible price.
