nope... I wouldn't say that was a direct revenge from him to sau... let's not forget he wasn't the cop that pulled me over. But he was pretty happy to defect me when he saw a Skyline...

And it just happens to be the exactly same cop that defected my car... but I see most of you already figured that out anyway...

I was without front bar for 2 weeks and no cop pulled me over... I wouldnt recommend you doing it though

Well, I got his badge number and name on my expiation notice anyway... what I learned from this experience is that it's better to play "I know my rights" card than "being nice" card with cops... It wont be too difficult to get the car off defect cause all the stuff he defected me for is non-existent apart from exhaust. I didnt know it's illegal to have dark tint on side windows cause car already passed regency with it before.

yay, I got my first defect today Two civilian cops came to me when I pulled over at Port Rd Shell to fill up my car... One of them just said in a very arrogant way "do you know Australian road rules?" And I was like "excuse me?" Then he showed me his badge and only then I realised they were cops. Then he started listing some things I apparently did wrong while they were following me, like speeding, failure to give way and failure to indicate and similar bullshit which they probably pulled straight out of their arses, cause I'm 100% sure all of that stuff was made up. And then without writing me any ticket for any of those "offences" (seems like he made up that shit just to break the ice) he quickly changed topic and said "you got turbo timer, that's a defect" when he noticed my car was still running. Then one cop told me that I have to go to Pt Adelaide police station for a vehicle inspection straight away. So I went to Pt Adelaide station. The guys in police office reception told me to go out and wait at my car. Then another cop showed up. While inspecting my car he kept insulting me and making racial comments like "I know you sick c*nts" "don't f**k with me" and similar shit even though I was trying to be nice at all times. He opened up every compartment in my car without asking me and then he started to go through my papers and school stuff just like that... Then he found a couple of receipts from Japanese Performance Imports and said in a smartass way "well, what do we have here? hahahaha" he went through all of them only to find stuff like "fan belt" etc... Then he then asked me to pop the bonnet and he noticed a blocked off wastegate pipe (which is where the boost controller goes) and he said it's a home made boost controller and when I said it's not, it's only blocked off pipe he got really pissed off cause he thought he was lying even though I was not. He didn't find anything else wrong in engine bay, so he tested the tint on side windows and apparently it was too dark. Then he wrote down that my exhaust is too loud even though my car was off at all times and he didn't even take a look at my car's exhaust. He also added turbo timer, even though my car doesn't have an turbo timer. It only has one that's feature of my car alarm and is triggered only by the combination of buttons, not by just pulling the keys out... people who got Viper car alarm will know what I'm talking about. Again when I told him that he got pissed of at me cause I was apparently lying again. Then he took me into office and I had to listen to more of his threats like how he can throw me into jail for lying to police officer and ruin my career and similar shit... by that time I realised the guy is just a psycho trying to intimidate me... so I've pretty much given up and stayed quiet for the rest of his monologue... I'm surprised how much shit I had to take from this guy just for a defect. It's not like I commited a crime or a driving offence... Does anyone else here have experience with this guy who shall remain nameless? He's got strong scottish, pale sunburnt skin and short blonde/reddish hair.

I started getting the same thing in my r32. At firts I thought it was clutch pedal fluid but now I have doubts. The yellowish-brownish fluid is only leaking in the clutch pedal area and in rather small amounts. It really seems like it's clutch fluid except that the clutch-brake fluid is blue... and coolant is green. What the hell is on my floormat???

Last week during a cruise on a freeway my R32 (RB20DET) all the suddenly started to sound like WRX - it got really deep sound, kinda like truck. and it became noticeably slower and its shaking like hell (there's no rattling noise or anything like that though)... First thought was faulty spark-plug, but then all the suddenly it fixed itself... It was alright for a while but then it started doing it again... It's alright at the moment but it's still happening at times, usually after driving for a while... Should replacing spark plugs fix the issue or is it something I should be concerned about?

Actually all that already exists. I've had cops coming to my high school in yr11 showing us really graphical slide shows of crashes and injuries. We also already have very tight license laws, tight p-plater restrictions, cops and cameras everywhere, absurdly low speed limits, high penalties etc... but honestly, what do you think is gonna stop some idiot trying to do 140k around corner? And for gods sake, how will police enforce the power to weight ratio limitations??? Are they gonna dyno every p-plater car they pull over?

Alright, please no old people talk here... I highly doubt everyone was driving 75hp datsuns and corollas 15 years ago... I also highly doubt there was no street racing and young drivers casualties... I'm surprised you didnt say everyone was riding horses back then. I lived back, and even though I was only 5 15 years ago, I'm pretty sure I'd remember if there were only two different cars on the road... maybe in communism but not here. You can do stupid shit with pretty much every car... 99% (I just made up this statistic but lets just say vast majority) of P-platers die in their parents old VS commodores. Rarely you hear of fatal P-plater crash involving skylines, wrxs or any performance imports... I dont say it never happens, but its much easier to randomly trash around some $1000 commodore than $15000+ import. Young people driving imports would be more careful and have more respect for their cars and the power than sick cants in "stockexcept$500cheapchinesechromewheels" commodores I'd imagine. Even I personally cant say I never had a bit of fun in my car, but when I do that I do it on an empty road (ie freeway at night) and with no other passengers in car and I'd certanly never do stupid shit like 140 around corner. I am waiting to be attacked by SAU's old people community again, but sometimes if the condidions are right I see nothing wrong with just giving it a bit of a squirt to see how fast the car can accelrate... especially with only one shitty race track in the whole state charging $100 per day ($100 for what exactly??? I mean I'm 20, not rich) and not to mention all other charges and licences etc... Seems like the guy in wrx was really just showing off in front of crowds and had bit too much confidence. 140 around corner with car packed with passengers at the back is just stupid... RIP Dimitri

Its fuel cut. Try getting a stronger fuel pump or if that doesnt work fuel cut defencer (use only if the ecu is cutting you off not fuel pump itself). Its nothing to do with sparkies.

it's unlikely that wheels are bent cause they are new. Tyres are also new. And there's no CV joints cause its RWD. I'll probably just do wheel alignment and see whats wrong.

So here's the problem, the steering wheel in my r32 is not straight - its turned slightly to the left when I drive in a straight line. Now my first guess was wheel alignment too, but the thing is that when I start going fast or accelerate hard it starts turning further to the left, id say up to 20 degrees or something... it's definitely noticeable. is it something with power steering?
