  1. Ok this event has been run and won Fantastic event for both GTRs and Willall Racing, as we got the first three positions outright with our GTRs. Great to see g35me, domino and some of the other lads again
  2. We were 2 hours late starting, and we thought we heard them call it up on the mic, so we rushed to the cars....to have another 30 minutes wait!
  3. Well its an easy and permanent fix if you ever swing by this way (We do it as a matter of course for any GTR we have the engine out of)
  4. Ecl, sounds like your bell-housing needs fixing. Have your Nissan 'tech' unbolt the prop-shaft from the back of it, then check the freeplay - it will be excessive
  5. Yes, saw you there, had a bit of a wave, but didnt think you saw me.... Heres the little jigger -
  6. Please don't bring Willall Racing into this - we have never performed work on your car. Our booking and completion system is thoroughly organized and professional.
  7. This package has probably the best flywheel setup their is....we totally re-engineered the whole thing so that never, ever in its life can this GTR ever make another flywheel rattle noise. From that point of view it behaves like a normal car. The noise you hear is the engine/turbos as it doesnt have an exhaust on in the video, its straight out the dump pipes
  8. Here is some info for you Domino. Hope its not breaking forum rules cross posting..... http://www.gsr-evo-club.net/viewtopic.php?f=129&t=14024
  9. A good example of the Syvecs Traction control in action in Targa Adelaide. You can hear it cutting the engine to maintain traction off the line and through some of the tight corners (its the machine gun noise, you hear it again at 1:15) Unfortunately while fighting for the lead against a Super Trofeo Lamborghini it tripped over the white line front first and put them out of the event. From the 35s running in Targa Adelaide at the time (the rest of which had various different management systems both factory and aftermarket) it was easily the fastest running head to head.
  10. Well thats easy. Take what your 'friend' told you, invert it, and theres your answer. I wont go on about it, I will let those that have spent their own hard earned give their own real world experiences
  11. EvoX is bulletproof. The transmissions are extremely reliable, and the engines are tough as nails. They are the most durable DCT arrangement we have come across, and take that from somoeone that has empirically tested wear samples from the cars across a few years now. We have/have had 3 x EvoX SST cars in our test fleet, and raced them thoroughly with great success, so we know what we are on about. As far as overheating transmissions are concerned, the EvoX would have to be the most myth filled and imbecile maligned car on the internet. Just like GTRs the transmissions measure slip, and when programmed incorrectly, modified incorrectly, and serviced incorrectly they will slip and generate 'Overheat' errors. Of course in most cases - just the the GTR - the transmission isnt hot at all. Folks in the EvoX world havent really grasped that if you get the above right, and remove the front foglight that covers 50%-60% of the big factory SST cooler that you can lap all day even on 30+ degree days without an issue. How do we know this? Because we have done it - many times. Here is our WR330 track EvoX getting it a bit loose. Its around 3-4 seconds per lap faster than a typical bolt-on tuned R35 at our local track to put it into perspective. As you might have worked out, we like EvoX
  12. I have an X....or two SST is the only way to go. Link to the family EvoX - http://www.gsr-evo-club.net/viewtopic.php?f=107&t=14461
  13. Wardki give me a call, I can arrange it to happen for you.
  14. The Cobb solution is not bad, it builds boost fairly slowly and lazily compared to something like the Syvecs which has a lot more engine control ( control of fuel, spark, and also throttle angle), and then 'lets it rip'. Make no mistake this will be very hard on transmissions as it has no contol of throttle ramp (progression of start angle to finish angle) etc. I can see PPG loving this
  15. Servicing outside of warranty has been very popular for us, hence we came up with an MY11/12 spec 'Renew' program for the MY09 cars
  16. Sorry Domino, been a bit caught up with Targa Adelaide and all the associated work This one is on the front-burner from here on in until completion. One of the 'tricks' we worked out is that to install the Greddy turbo kit you must have a Greddy top pipe kit as well! Thats done now..... SD tuning only in something of this 'size'
  17. Hankook RS-3 nice tyre, good enough to win WTAC Clubsprint last year, cheap enough
  18. No, actually a Temora 1000 run in proper controlled conditions Going fast on the road is not cool in any way
  19. Slip, its not going anywhere till we see 350km/h out of it
  20. Domino, we have (courtesy of the awesome logging on the Syvecs) being doing a fair bit of intercooler testing lately on several different cars.....the results for the stock coolers are looking pretty damn impressive at this stage....
  21. Heat shielding on the turbo system, on both the inlets (which we do) and the exhaust manifolds....
