I can't get it regoed until January...... Because it's less than 10 yrs old & privately imported I would have to get a 3rd tier inspection done by the RTA and there's no way that they would pass my car because of the mods. But in January my car will be 10 yrs old & therefore doesn't need the RTA inspection....... I HATE THE RTA!!!!!!!!!

Apparently your car has to be pretty much stock to pass 3rd tier..... I'm waiting until January when my car is 10 years old so I don't have to get the inspection done......

When your car is complied you will have to get a blue slip so you can rego the car, the guys that do the blue slip will advise you whether or not you need to go to the RTA for a 3rd tier inspection...... I called the RTA about this '3rd tier inspection' & the chick sounded like she had absolutely no idea what she was on about. As far as I could tell, it is just to check that the VIN & Engine numbers match on the car & you're not trying to pull a shifty..... Does anyone else have any more info on them?
