This will all be done as soon as i get the quotes for repairs. I'll be getting some legal advice & prolly end up going to court.....

BAD NEWS: The cops just called back and washed their hands of the matter saying that it will most probably be "no one's fault". Which means that I'll most probably have to sue this guy to get my repairs paid for or to get my car written off.

THE OTHER GUY IS DEFINATELY AT FAULT!!!! YAY!! I feel so much better now.....but now I've just gotta get him to put in an insurance claim for me.

Do you have to carry your compliance certificate papers? Nope. The plate in the engine bay is enough. How much is a defect fine, and if you replace the offending defected part, is the fine eliminated? The fine depends on what's wrong and the kind of mood that the cop is in. I think most are around $74, but don't quote me on that....The fine is not eliminated after you clear the defect. You still have to pay it.

The passenger seat is pushed into the middle and is kind of on top of the centre console, which means the floor is bent...... There's a kink in the roof too...... My poor car.....

HAHAHAHA.....I had the same problem. You just gotta learn to slide the clutch out. It burns the clutch but it's worth it......
