friend of mine passed away 2 nights ago, he was driving his 4 door 33 when he lost control in kingsley on hepburn ave and hit into 2 cars head on which instantly took away his life. he was an old friend from school and the 20 years he spent with family and friends will be missed dearly. the steering wheel probably wont pass either cos if the stock one has an airbag, (which it does) it's illegal to change it to a non airbag steering wheel.

Got my car tuned 243hp @ 10psi the other day at Hyperdrive not being happy with the power output i found a boost leak which i fixed today and it pulls alot harder. quite pissed though cos i wasted the tune..isit worth getting another one? will it make much difference? cheers

very happy!!! after the tune, to be honest i wasn't very happy at all with the results because the car felt like it pulled more before the tune. i thought to myself.."this cant be, it's just been tuned..the car can only get better not worst" not being able to convince myself i got the tools out after work and popped the bonnet open. - intercooler piping..check! (all tight)... - vacuum lines had no apparent cracks and also sprayed a little amount of water, no bubbling..UNTIL i got to the bov vacuum line, few bubbles starting to appear, looked closer and it had alot of cracks and visible wearing. cut a piece off and refitted, and then also saw that the hoseclamp wasn't tightened. it was LOOSE, i could pull it right off. - stock bov..wiggled it around abit, what the? its shaking and then pop went the top bolt into my coilpacks, got the sucker and tightened it back on. - everything else seemed fine so i went for a drive it pulls like a train now!!!! not sure why my tuner didnt pick it up though? quite angry cos now it means it was just a waste of a tune..would it be best to get another tune?

thanks for the reply, that explains alot, thanks dude. the guys in the uk skyline forum refer to the front pipe as the turbo elbow for some reason :S does a decat flow better than a highflow cat? i know that the decat is illegal but can you tell someone has a decat from just listening to the car? is it alot louder than normal? thanks paull

somebody was telling me they have a 3" turbo elbow and dump pipe in one. is this the same as the front dump pipe that xforce and just jap sell? cheers

was wondering what you guys think of this ecu? comparing to the power fc and others how good isit? how much can i expect to pay? Also, i was thinking of getting a de-cat and removing the cat converter..how loud would this make my car sound? any negatives in doing it?

i know a guy in the uk that can do a clear l it panel. around 90 pounds posted on an exchange basis. meaning 90 pounds and if your happy with what you get, you send him your stock panel. he has carbon fibre designs etc aswell if your interested lit_clear_panel_1.pdf

Just wondering if 243Hp @ the wheels on 10psi with the current setup is decent as i just got a dyno tune today and not sure what i should expect out of my stock turbo. So if you got a stock turbo or running an safc cos i'd like to see how much i can squeeze out my safc. could you post your dyno results! dyno graphs also if available =) mods are -autobahn fmic -3" hks dragger -walbro pump -apexi induction -safc2 cheers

yeah thats the exact same one i first used but the pins werent there and some missing

still need help, anyone on here have any experience with installing an safc2 on an rb25 ecu? ecu is still sitting on the floormat, any help would be great =)

thanks for the help toffy, but the diagram you gave me is the same one i have, and its the one that doesnt seem to be correct, my ecu shows different wiring in different places. kiwisr4t i was looking at the diagram u gave me, yet haven't tried it though cos it says 53 is the speed sensor but on the diagram it doesnt show u where the 53rd pin is? thanks
