  3. so i played with the injector settings in FC-edit (im pretty sure they are right now), fully charged the battery, made sure the cylinders werent flooded and re-aligned the CAS and still the same results. getting really irritating. so i decide to try to check the CAS per FSM but im a little confused. im going by this: im trying to follow it but its a little confusing to me. i can hear the injectors going off when i spin the shaft... when i check the voltage to #2 i get battery voltage, 3 and 4 depending on the position of the shaft its 5v or lower. nothing at 1. is my CAS ok? im just so fustrated with my car, it was literally just running and now it wont even start.
  4. im having a weird no start issue with my s1 rb25det. i confirmed fuel, spark, new cas, battery is good. when i crank it over it cranks and when normally it would fire up it instead my dash lights go dim and theres this weird winding noise. i kept trying and thought i flooded my engine, so i pulled out the plugs, some fuel but not flooded. i blew air into the cyl and cleaned off the plugs just in case. same thing happens. it was literally just starting before, all i did was adjust the CAS on the last fire up to correct the timing. its almost like the battery is bad, but its not holds 12v even after attempting to crank a half dozen times. im pretty stumped... the winding noise is something i never heard or seen before. opinions would be greatly appriciated!
  5. also my EBC/boost gauge shows im only having 6-5psi of vacuum at idle.. isnt it supposed to be like 16ish?
  6. i just upgraded my intake manifold to an ISIS unit (greddy style) and used a q45 throttle body with it. i have everything hooked up correctly and the car idles pretty good but just having a problem with the throttle. when i open it nothing really happens. what can cause opening the throttle to give no effect to the engine? also i swapped over the rb25 TPS to the throttle body.
  7. i guess i do. im just going by that chart, that says the G2 is rated for 450hp (not sure if its @crank or @wheels)
  8. what supporting mods are needed for the G2 to hit 450whp? do you have any rb25 high flows setups that can get around 550whp on the stock exhaust manifold?
  9. just got an email from Deatschwerks which gave me this info for redtop side feeds the time would be .64ms so: .64 - .52 = +.11 i will post all the voltages too when i get home if i remember
  10. i have a set of deatschwerks 650cc side feed (red) rb25det injectors and im not sure how to set the lag/latency. the information i have is: 16v - 1.072 14v - 1.192 12v - 1.420 10v - 1.8 8v - 2.62 6v - 5.88 now how do i change that infomation into a ms reading that i can subtract the stock injector lag from to enter into my power fc?? i think i have a more complete voltage list like that in my email (cant check it right now though, at work) that goes from like 4v to 17v for ever 1v if that would help anyone help me, i can post later
  11. thank you for the reply! i think you're right and it is broken i dont know why i didnt think of that. so probablly have to keep trying til i get it? do u have any tips on how to align it properly with that broken?
  12. my CAS went bad, the shaft on it got seized. im told because i was running without an upper timing cover for too long. i replaced it and the car still doesnt start. i verified fuel pressure and injectors are working. verified spark, even changed out the plugs. tried starting without maf unplugged. tried everything and verified everything with both my stock ecu and my power fc. checked the timing belt and cam timing, still perfect. i cant figure out why my car wont start and need some help. need some input and some ideas on what to check... not sure what else there is. what sensors can cause an rb not to start? please help!
