  1. Lol it comes down to the rider really, like I'm sure I'd have trouble keeping up with the good riders I'll probably end up behind the cars! lol I thought Deca was in June?
  2. Hahah oh right I forgot to put the condition...FIXED XD
  3. Ok ok before I start getting everyone yelling at me saying this is a car club, as from the previous threads we all know there is already a large amount of riders here so being a new rider myself filled with hope and inhibition I thought I might try to plan for SAU's 1st unofficial motorcycle cruise (afaik) right now I'm looking at Saturday the 21st this give everyone sometime to get the dust covers off and to spread the word a little. I've been looking at cruising routes (any opinions are welcome) and have narrowed it down to a few; 1. Emerald --> Warburton --> Black-Spur --> Healesville --> Return (Looks the best imo) 2. Wantirna --> Arthurs-Seat --> Flinders --> Pakenham --> Gembrook (Looks like a nice scenic root but not enough twisties) 3. Brayswater -->Koo Wee --> Warragul --> Costal Park --> Yaram --> Emerald (Looks nice but LOOOONG) 4. GOR Drive (I don't really want to do this one since there is an OFFICAL SAU GOR cruise but I'm putting it here for input) EDIT 2: 5. Great Alpine Road (As purposed by Russman, this is the only way to fit it in a day but I doubt we'd do it, I'll probably save it for a 2 dayer later on in the year) I wanted to do a 2 day cruise but I figure since it's the first one lets start small . And OF COURSE cars will be allowed on this cruise but I do want to get as many riders as possible. James Edit: Cars Condition: You have to be at the back of the pack and we will set up locations where we'll wait for you to catch up....we'll have lunch or something
  4. Haha no Asians have a big gambling problem when Macau turned into the new vegas there was reports of mothers leaving their <10 yr old children to go gamble for a few days. Police had to get involved and break into the house. One case was where a 12yr old girl was left with some money and her mother went to gamble and people only found out when the teachers found out at the school she goes too. An the worst one I've ever read about is that a lot of houses in HK have 2 doors a main door and a large metal sliding security gate one parent actually locked her child IN BETWEEN the two to go to Macau for the day. Seriously this world is messed
  5. I actually really don't other than my SAU buds my friend reach is limited to uni students. I'm an overseas student (whom speaks perfect English I might add and doesn't sound like and asian ). So all family and relitives are either interstaet or overseas. Plus there is the small thing that none of my family knows about the bike and would probably kill me when they find out that I actually didn't' buy that 2.0L ford focus lol. Finding third party isn't my problem, it's finding third party fire & theft so far I've found 3 companies that do it Swann but the rates for that is ridiculous and I should just get fully comp, Insuremyride which is better but I have to get two plans to get that cover which I find is stupid and suncorp but I have to go in and get a quote so I don't know how much that is going to be.
  6. Haha lots of money in the smuggling business hahah yea but they actually are, I didn't know until my parents told me
  7. I'm not cant afford it to expensive for 21
  8. Yea but they don't do third party fire and theft Hahah get a helmet and we'll talk, saw your baby around uni a couple times its funny cause there is another R34 like yours but I can tell them apart now, his is not as clean as yours First Road Bike, yea
  9. Nice ride Jim! That is a thing of beauty man really good condition, hope to see you on some cruises soon! Welcome to SAU!
  10. But I don't know anyone that old or anything! I did a fully comp check and they said it was around 4g's!!!! No way can I afford that!. I think my only option is 3rd party really, but $700 for fully comp is ridiculous! I'll have a look at swann now and see what numbers they through at me.
  11. Because they figure if your going to drive back and fourth from Hong Kong and China your rich enough to be raped up the...yea
  12. Hahah nope I was just visiting a friend @ peter stevens and getting some noice boots but it was a nice day and decided to get some quick snaps while the sun was out, good eye though
  13. hahahah come on dude we totally need to form a SAU Bike crew!
  14. Baha thanks for the faith Charli but I doubt I'd be ready for a track day just yet, no matter how tempting it is. Gotta get some Oggy Knobs and still need to get insurance (who are you with btw? I'm looking for one that does Third Party, fire and theft but I cant find anything that available). Would you want to collaborate on maybe making an SAU bike cruise?
  15. bahah I know right? but I know where he's coming from but I know the risks and I'm willing to take it Bahaha thanks bez, it's not even funny how much I was thinking of getting one installed though, but I'd rather not blow my chances of getting PR here in Aus lol
  16. Thanks for all the replies guys, but as most of you know I just got a new bike so my other baby is being given a holiday but I'm off to get a gapper and I'll check the AFM and wiring harness tonight before I make the jump to splitfires, thanks for all the input guys, hope to get her up and purring again soon!
  17. As most of you know I've been looking for a bike for a long time and I finally took the leap and got one this weekend. She's a beaut, 2008 CBR600RR and only had 2300K's on the clock really happy with the purchase and hoping to ride with some fellow SAU riders soon!
  18. Bahahah Holy SHIT man that is a Hong Kong registered car with a China Cross-Boarder license plate....that PLATE costs more then the ENTIRE car!!!!! (FYI: a china cross-boarder license plate is 1 MILLION HK = ~140,000AUD) Then again Hong Kong has 100% TAX on cars so maybe not lol
  19. Borderline R&R? What do you mean by that paul?
  20. Kirs is right standard boost , gonna order new splitfires I think
  21. mmm might have to have a look into that, I only taped up the actual packs and not the rubber part if thats what you mean. I was thinking about the gap. I thought it was 1.1 for stock boost?
  22. It seems to be what everyone else has though cause like a lot of people say it's between 4500-5000 revs, how do you check the AFM?
  23. Just did the whole tape DYI fix, not sure, it seems like it reduced the symptom but I'm also thinking it could be placebo effect. I didn't see any cracks or anything on my packs though....
  24. Hmmm that might make sense, I noticed on the 4th sparky that it was the only one covered in a small amount of white powder, I was wondering what it was but I was in a bit of a rush to get them back in so I didn't take much notice. Do you think that's the problem?....splitfires time?
