arghh the bottom radiator hose is such a bitch to undo lol i did it to drain the radiator as i couldnt locate the valve to open it and then when i had to put it back on pwahhh the chassis got in the way big time...will check ebay now thanks dude

i rang the radiator guy and he said he couldnt beleive he forgot to check the other end of the hose...he reckons they dont build up pressure if its actually lose...how on earth am i gona replace all the hoses under the engine lol that will cost a fortune as i would prob have to order from nissan who are not cheap.....i will replace the engine hose and clamp at the very least silly question where is the thermostat exactly located so i can check it?

well for a update today whilst driving the car overheated again pulled off opened bonnet and what do u know the hose has not blown off this time so I was stumped, however the steam was coming from the other end of the top radiator hose the one that connects to the engine, I felt the clamp and it felt lose so I gt my screwdriver out and I could move the hose clamp around so I tightened it, put water back in and it was fine was at normal temp, the racv dude reckons all it water hoses under the engine need to be replaced as they are still original does that sound right? I was on nepean hwy just past edithvale station is anyone saw me LOL

ok i went to natrad in seaford today highly recommended by the way and he took the hose off and found the problem right away, the part of the radiator that the top hose connects to has broken off the ridge part that stops it from sliding off when the hose clamp is on....it was broken in the hose and we just fished it out and pretty much now need a new top filler bottle, was quoted $260 hope thats a good price anyway for the time being he put this plastic ridge on it dont know how he did it...like this blue silicon stuff, very dodgy as he said but will get me by til i get it fixed so we shall see how it goes now thanks for all the help people always appreciated

hey bro welcome the forums i picked my r33 gtst up for 8500 and it was a gem, had a couple probs here and there but nothing to major....very decent power too man especially my self coming from a honda just like u theres a big difference...you should find a nice r33 gtst around that budget but get it checked out by someone who knows em pretty well cuz they are a high maintenace car so u wana make sure u get one that has been looked after im on the contrary to jakez88....i love the 33 over the 32 lol let us know what you get

spotted a black r33 in frankston..looked like it had black rims with a chrome lip looks mickey...would of been around 6.30 pm turning into a street not sure what it was called (the one right after davey street)

yeah an air bag steering wheel, man i doubt i could do it i dont even know what the counterweight is....pretty much one time whilst i was driving i noticed that when i turned the steering wheel to the left like full lock there would be a click like something was loose in their....pretty much atm i have taken out the 10A fuse from under the bonnet so it doesnt go off but will have to get the counterweight looked at...more than likely by my mechnic i dont know if i can risk it if i dont have an ounce of a clue of wat to do lol thanks for ur replys boys

man i have the exact same problem everyone always complains when they get in my car..i am yet to find a soloution, partly because i dont have to sit in it lol sounds selfish but its not on the top of my to do list, keep posted with what you reckon?....i found mine started when my mate who is a friggen big guy sat in it and afta that doesnt come up high enough

What is the foam block, and what do u mean under it, as in stuck to the bottom on the mdf? where can i get it? also what type of thickness of mdf should i go for? Thanks Bud

Heres a quick question for you car audio wizards, what type of wood should i use to make a false floor in my 33, to put a sub into, trying to do my own custom install but not sure on what wood to use....been told some MDF?? what are your opinions

Damn bro 29000 definabtly oil and filter change, does the engine sound ok on cold starts as in mornings? My r33 wasn't sounding the best, like knocking bcuz the oil became too thick so that when it started it couldn't suck up the oil quick enough, may be different on an r34

yeah i know, but the horn goes of just at the worst times, like today was in the drive thru 4 hot girl in the car ahead of me and my horn goes mental i look like a jerk and everyone in the f*kin kfc were like wtf???? i cant figure out what is causing it to go off...theres a bad earth somewhere but i cant just take the friken steering wheel of cause of my air bag would a general mechanic be a good idea to help? or an auto electrician

Hey All, Once again faced with another problem so i ask your expertise once again lol I had a crack to try and disconnect my horn but no idea how to do it so i figured i would take the fuse out however i cannot locate the fuse on the fuse boxes, i read the threads on the translations and none of them say horn, any one know where it is located or any other possible way to get rid of it cheers in advance
