  1. I got the premium bose in mine. There is a slight diff from what I recollect to the standard bose and for its time 2005 I think the sound is very good and better than most standard fitments of cars its age. The functions are very basic and sure some people want different things out of their unit but as far as sound goes its brilliant !

  2. Yeah good question it's the same sort of thing at the back with the two hanging hooks don't suit Australian no. Plates. I never bothered to take them off - a few people told me to remove them and just bolt the plates to the bar.. But I worried about scratching the bar. Also removing the back rack the plates mount on would leave a big hole. Really interested what people have used for this. I was contemplating shopping around this week for something.

  3. Just crazy having to deal with driveways , speed humps , potholes etc - just for the sake of the car looking good and handling slightly sharper. The V's even in standard trim touch in certain places where my older and lower R33 didn't. I certainly ain't messing with it

  4. Yeah+ 1 on that N15mo. I got the rear lip spoiler on mine ( I think it's Impul) sharpens the rear nicely. Not many have them. I've a only seen 1 silver and 1.charcoal grey one( looked hot)). Many have the full spoiler which I'm not a fan of.

In Sydney there's a few lakeshore blues going around now. There's at least 3 coupes in the surrounding suburbs I see now. Then again theres lots of Japanese / Chinese guys in Strathfield- so no surprise. Certainly not like 5 years ago when I was one of the first few

  5. Hey Guys,

Thought I'd stop stalking the forums and introduce myself. My names Reece and I live in Townsville due to work but go to Brisbane as much as possible. I recently bought an immaculate Red 350GT Coupe 6MT Premium dropped on Cusco Coilovers. Also has Fujitsubo Exhaust so it sounds perfect and some nice 19inch black rims :). Very, VERY pleased with my purchase considering out of the 5 cars I looked at this was the only one I couldn't fault.

Anyway fella's, I'll post some pics as soon as I figure out how haha.

    Cheers lads,

    Reece

Hey Reece, sounds really nice. Thats an "03 is it ?. You got the brembos too- sweet! I got the Fujitsubu on mine too & love it .I'm sure you will enjoy many happy k's driving

  6. Hey guys! Thought idd finally sign up and introduce myself, Names Lee im 22 i live in Brisbane and drive a 04 series 2 coupe in Lakeshore Blue. Have owned the car now for roughly 4 months and have kept it completely stock bar my CCFL headlights that i installed last Friday. Had planned on doing rims but am going to put on hold since im getting sum dental work done shortly, Anyways hope to post sum pics soon and shall see you guys around.

Welcome Lee and Im sure you will be happy with it. I had one of the first 2005 lakeshore blue coupes to arrive now I see a few around- in fact only today saw another one .Wondering if yours might be manufactured end of 2004 cause i didn't think that colour was available till early 05 ( could be wrong). Can't wait to see your pics

  7. Andrew have you ever had police attention from that much poke? I got my Eibach springs fitted today & right side compression rod bush replaced & SPC rear camber kit fitted. Was also going to run 25mm spacers at the back and 20mm at the front.

Had to take the back spacers off as the poke was too much and i didn't like the idea of a defect. Anyway, i don't think i've ever posted pics of my car in here, so here it is.

First pic is the back with 25mm spacers on, can see the poke is too much but damn it looks sick.

They are hot Seano- suit the car the heaps. Some nice wheels being posted- both yours and 30five look about as good as it gets !

  8. Once you lower more than an inch you start getting close to 2degree negative camber. Which means you start scrubbing tyres so that's something that alot of newbies don't realise when they start doing this. Camber kits only improve about 1/2 to 3/4 of a degree. Having owned a low R33 gtst - I never wanted the hassles with the V & I gotta say despite the 33 being alot lower than the V it never bottomed out (mostly the firmer springs less travel ). Even standard V touches slightly on some speed humps. Reason why I never lowered mine and probably never will - don't want to compromise the ride either. Might look a little better but I'le pass.

  9. I fully get the gearbox tip tropic thing. Cause pushing forward should always be up I reckon (must be a manual driver thing). But on fuel just looking at it practically how do you work out litres you got- you have to covert range left /. 100 klms/ then. / litres. Its always a 2 step process before you start. So I guess like the gearbox thing "Industry standard "is not always practical

  10. Yeah that's what I meant - I got the original firmware disk that came with navi disk when I bought the car. Definitely want to check it out when it's ready.

Really like the KLM/L reading very easy to follow 8klm a litre x 80litre=640 (always fill around 560ks on this average). Why the standard on all new cars went to litres/100klm is beyond me.

    Thanks Brad
