Is that for full tank? Not bad see .. try cleaning the afms will help a bit too .. i hate driving in cbd can't imagine how you drive with a twin plate .. think i'm gonna try a cushioned button when it's due for replacement .. so enjoy the car .. i only have mine for a year and to me it's a great car .. treat it well and i believe you'll always enjoy it

just find out the power-to-weight ratio of the ve, ss,x8 etc and do the math for the skyline so aim higher than theirs

If yours is pretty much standard and if you don't drive it aggressively, then YES you can definitely get 400+kms from the tank. Because mine is stock standard and it always gets more than 400 kms every single time. I drive 60% on freeway and 40% on hwy. The best I remember is 1 litre ~ 8.2 klms (or 12 litres for 100 kms). I refilled when at 460-470klms (really conservative driving ) But there is no fun to drive slow all the time ... that's not what we get this car for isn't it? So my average is 1 litre ~ 7.7 klms (normal driving + a bit aggressive from time to time)

Man..better not go below 40k.. i would cry if i was in your position and had to sell it below 40k. even $45 is so low for a 34 gt-r in that great condition I'm with others hope you find a buyer who can appreciate that car. yeah maybe put it on carsales if you haven't. when i sold my hyundai i've got almost 100 clicks on my ad a day. and it was in March. Is VIC police really that strict on car modification? What is the purpose of all these car operations?

I came to Melbourne in 1998. Before I came here people said to me that Australia is a country with a firm law. I'm a simple person who don't like any bullshits ... not on the road! (which I have seen many) and certainly not in public places (I have seen none only from the news) Coming from a place where law and order 'can be purchased', I was quite happy with the way Melbourne was when I first arrived. I could walk in the city feeling safe. I had the utmost respect for police here. Fast forward 10 years ... I can't imagine how dramatically Melbourne has changed. Seems like everywhere people go they carry knives with "I don't know why I don't like you but because I don't like you I'll stab you" attitude. Reading from what people wrote of what they witnessed ... how police don't want to get involved with a fight ... it is very demoralizing. Police are here to enforce the Law.. they are trained for these things .. they are the backbone of the Law .. so if they were weak .. what hope would the rest of the body has to stand up? I have been in situation where I was told to deal with the matter myself when I called a police station. I certainly lost all the respect I before had, it's just the same as where I come from. Only a different country. My 2 cents.

Hi, my intake manifold paint is flaking because I use degreaser when cleaning the engine bay, probrably when engine is hot. Does anyone know where I can get the paint, either spray or anything? Thanks.

Hi Lovic, Oohhhh i see what u mean now. sorry i misunderstood ur question b4. that i have no idea how to do so sorry ... dunno if that's possible with r32. initially i thought i had to do that (for r32) before i took the whole tail light off the panel (pls someone correct me if i'm wrong), but apparently i didn't have to open the red plastic cover. so all i had to do was simply taking the original tail light assembly off the cover, and replacing it with the led light assembly. put windscreen sealant (i used it since it doesn't harden) and screw the light (cover and assembly) back to the car again. do you reckon i understand you correctly? ...

You have any pics? Mine is r32. I removed and installed my tail lights twice, changing to LED and changing to original again. maybe i can help if you post the pic too. dunno if similar to r33.

Last Sunday saw 2 32gtrs: 1. MYFAST in Glen Waverley: gunmetal grey. nice rims too. dunno what they are but nice. 2. another one at Coles Springvale car parking at night. Maybe gunmetal too. Forgot what the custom plate was. On Tues saw a white 33 on Narre Warren Cranbourne Road in Narre Warren. Saw another one on Wed. Maybe the same one. Princes Hwy in Narre Warren. Also on Wed saw one gunmetal 32gtr on Centre Road in Clayton around 6.30ish heading toward Clayton.

actually i did accelerate really slowly. so slowly indeed .. and i paid attention at the needle very closely and it doesn't go down anymore .. not even a slight bit .. instead .. it jumps up .. with the same distance as when it used to drop down (around 50 rpm). Ok it's the detail ....... (1) previous cold idle: 1,200 rpm. (2) starting around two weeks ago, rpm drops when i rev (by 100 rpm from 1,200 to 1,100) then goes up as normal. (3) 6 Oct: i initially just thought it could be clogged injectors . so i just add fuel injector cleaner liquid into fuel tank, the whole bottle into a full fuel tank. that's all i could do as the first step since i was worried (4) have used up the almost fuel tank until this Sunday. (5) 12 Oct: rpm didn't drop when i rev (i guarantee not even a bit..), instead it jumps up (by 100 rpm as well). the difference also ... idle when cold became 1,100 (whereas previously cold idle was 1,200) (6) so, revving when cold: before: 1,200 -> 1,100 now : 1,100 -> 1,200 seems like there is a gap there between 1,100 and 1,200 that rpm just skips. what do you think ?

thanks for the input guys. will try to look into it. btw does a 32gtr have more O2 sensor after the cat converter? funny thing again is now, when i rev, instead of slightly dropping it slightly jumps up... then goes up as normal. as for the idle, it actually idle very well. very stable. problem is only when i rev it ...
