Do you know the vin number or rego? You can at the least see if it's still registered in Vic before having to pay anything.

The road toll is basically nothing as is though, since the 70s the road toll has come down to almost 1/4 what it was and yet there are more than twice as many vehicles on the road people on the roads, cars are safer. Why do the government have this fixation on lowering the road toll? Is it because they can enact some quick fixit scheme that makes it look like they're tackling the big issues? As long as people die within 12 months of having been in a reported accident regardless of it being as a result of that incident or not there will always be a road toll.
