Sorry guys, I don't agree! While I do apprechiate the notice and interset in wellbeing of our club and drivers. I have been to some fast and respected cruises with selected participants. We all have fun but how we behave, as a club should not be mentioned. There are those of us that appreciate an art of owning a Skyline. Hence SAUWA!!! I love my ride; I respect the club rules and do not accept a term "Perth Extreme". So don't affiliate us with statements like those, as there are others that read stuff on these forums. It is harmful. Again it comes to the language used. So lets be mindful of such comments. I respect bike riders but dare I say that when you go for a bike licence you are told to ride defensively. Not aggressively mad. There is a cult to this image of patriots. I.e. An art of speed. Movies such as Gt40 run through Paris streets, the Z350 in Prag City .... Getaway_in_stockholm.mov do a search on the net guys.....driven by professionals and recorded on the pro equipment.....I say not armatures. Not everybody knows how to drive/ride. Is this part critical to the air bag or just for balance and friction on steering?

Hi, Can someone tell me what purpose this metal weight serves inside the steering wheel above the airbag? Please? It sits suspended above the horn clips and the airbag and seems to correspond to the 4 pins allocated on the plastic cover. The four rubber pieces have separated and been off for a while. I was under impression it was some small part that was retelling inside. The part is suspended in air by the 4 rubber pieces holding it in the position and streches as you drive. I think its some sort of weight. My opinion is that it is some sort of safety weight that stops the steering cap from hitting you over the head when the airbag goes off. That is my view from design background. I don't see what else it would be. Can someone help with the explanation and a solution with the part? Thanks heaps Al :Bang:

There is a website on one of Supra forums how to service your own turbo....... Just need few small tools and some sort of clamp for centering......or something ...... I forgot........but I know you are clued up on these things so you can do it.

The good thing about those places they can find parts for them without you having to buy entire kit for the turbo............... Any diesel engine shop, might be able to help......if you are finding parts as stand alone or got the turbo out and can do it yourself......... My sisters huby did it for me

Cam, Any truck or boat tech shop will be able to do it. I had the problem with the old Supra before anyone knew about Jap Imports, just find one of those places, if it is just seals, or trhe mill or the bearing, they will build it and replace component and preasuree test it and all.................. TurboTech charge arm and a leg......................... They think they are the only gusy in the City, ehehehhehe, but in fact lot more people know the turbo components........ al
