  1. Post it up there SAM, ill know a defeat time and date later in the week boys and girl's. WHITEY
  2. Ill keep in contact with you Sam, id rather the dyno to be in so we can run afew car's up and show you our diagnostic equipment, and maybe afew power run's just for fun. Look's like a good number, also carpark is secluded away from randoms and cop's. WHITEY
  3. Organize all the crew to meet here @ EFI PERFORMANCE Sam. (YATALA) Safe parking, can put a bbq on and heap's of car talking here to do.
  4. OK, how long you guy's been around for????
  5. Yer it would be something different mate, however the outcome wouldn't be as good as turbo.
  6. That's good, great investment tell Dan. Where are they located???
  7. Do elite racing have a dyno??????????
  8. It's called "SPEED HOLD" that's how you get your cruise mixtures right. This a setting in the dyno that will hold load on the roller and wont let the wheels over speed past the setting point, you can also do it with engine RPM Vs mph. So what you can do while the engine/vehicle is static outweighs what ever you will try and do on the street.
  9. Also cam timing and exhaust manifold play a big part is spool time. We use 1.06 housing on our 3litres and 1.14 on our 30/26 combo's.
  10. You know where we are Ryan....... We are as you know the diagnostic specialist. Whitey
  11. We have done back to back reg test on malpassi, had nothing but trouble. but each to themselves. and 720cc injectors are massive, unless you want to make 500kw and idle like a diesel...
  12. WHY 720cc injector's that is massive and WHY a malpussy reg?????????
  13. Have fun st tuning, it seems people still WONT spend money on there cars to get a job done right. A dyno tune is way better than coping a loss of license or a massive speeding fine, not only that putting you, the tuner and other people on the road at risk. Don't take it the wrong way, but i had a mate end up upside down because his mate wanted him to st tune his GTR. POINTLESS. pay the coin and dyno tune it.
  14. No more adjustment to screw down??? You will need to chop it down and modify it to fit on, it needs to be one hole away from the gate flap, you extend the diaphragm for it to hold the gate closed.
  15. Made a great point, not only all that, but a Z32 AFM if your chasing big power. Also look into WOLF V500.
  16. You may get a result, but its consistency you want. CHEAP-FAST-RELIABLE <- you can only have 2. If its cheap, might go fast but wont be reliable. If is fast and reliable, it wont be cheap so on
  17. tulalit where are you located mate??? QLD???? If so we have a span on gas machine that we can check of air leak's, vacuum leak's and boost, takes two Min's to hook up, or go to a shop that has one in your area.
  18. Nope, has the car had any problem's??? And they properly charged out what the book said it takes to do, that's how you cover your workshop outgoings if something was to go overtime.
  19. We were not saying you do a cheap job, you properly have the same qualification's as most GOOD tech's out there, true about no overheads but doing job's like this can have its rewards and its down fall's if something were to go wrong. I applause you for having a go thou, i know alot of tech's who wouldnt dare do this kid of work outside work hour, you seem very confidant and good luck. WHITEY
  20. Those thing's are hard to quote when you can come up against unexpected add-on cost I.G. water pump's, defective water hose's ect ect. Like mercury said, they warrent all work done on vehicle, that's where alot of people go wrong, not knocking old mate who wants to do it for $200, but if something does go wrong, not saying it will, but WHAT IF, will you cover the cost of bent valve's or whatever may happen???????? It pay's to be safe, it pay's to do it by a professional with insurance background.
  21. It depends on the setup, you would need a good 500hp @ the crank to get close to 300kw @ tyre's maybe a bit more in an auto. 400hp is a good goal at the tyres. Sammy mate you want need 800cc mate, one of our rail kit's and 650 VDO injector's will be more than enough for 400@wheel's.
  22. How's your car now dion???? All fixed, it loves 1.2bar ay. Whitey
  23. Look into nistune mate http://www.nistune.com The boy's and girl's who have a nistune can speck up on this, price vs outcome....
  24. No need to piggy back. Nistune it http://www.nistune.com
