thinking about swapping my car with someone in sydney & i live in victoria, i need to get it roadworthy, does a victorian roadworthy certificate cover NSW? or do i have to travel to NSW & get a roadworthy done?

i pulled it all appart yesterday, i just lubed the window tracks but theres no bolts that allign the window there is just 2 bolts that hold it on the pulley motor & theres no room to adjust that.. the motor works fine always seems to sound like its working but the window just wont go up.

I'm after a right hand side back door electric window motor for an r33 skyline. It broke down, sprayed the mechanism pulley system with wd40, still goes down but motor struggles to much to push it up if anyone knows how I can fix it that would save me having to buy one, cheers..

more interested in swaps for anything other then ford or holden, throw something at me I'm getting desperate you may be suprised what I'll take.

no worries, that should be alright, i've been trying to sell the car since march & havent had 1 person even come and look at it so im guessing there will be no problems. ha ha

alright thanks guys, does it matter if I don't have a factory boost gauge? It does the same think as an aftermarket gauge right?

i've been thinking about putting a boost guage on my dash, i read that i have to buy 3 way vaccum hose connector so i can connect another line to the back of my guage from an existing vaccum hose in the engine bay, i was wondering, i have 2 vaccum lines coming out the back of my inlet plenum the bottom one goes to my BOV & the one at the top (yellow hose in pic) is cut off with a screw & currently not doing anything at all.. can i not worry about making a 3 way connection in the hose and just use the yellow one with the screw in it for the boost guage to make it easier to install? or do i need to connect it to the line thats going to the BOV?

yeh thats cool, probably a good thing incase anyone else thinks the same its already cleared up..

yeh i i had a faulty ignition lead & it was making the car run bad, one of the lead ends would always cut in and out while i was driving.. i didnt find that out till after i posted all that stuff.. the ignition lead got REPLACED that same week i quoted one genuine for $232 from melbourne & organized to buy one from a SAU member because it was only $60 delivered, i posted in the 'wanted to buy' section asking for anyone with a lead, im sure you can find this if you need to be proven a point.. that was such a minor thing that i didnt even worry about posting it, after i replaced the lead the car was great, all my coil packs & lead got checked on tuesday this week by a mechanic & he replaced where the fault was so everythings great, no problems.. nothing to worry about..

obviously appart from the recent problem with the coil pack that got replaced but nothing else has gone wrong with it, it was running great before the faulty coil pack and its running great again after it got replaced..

indeed its the same car & indeed i required some help from other SAU members with more knowledge then me but i dont know where your getting the info that i am still having problems with the car because its been running great ever since, go back and read the end of that forum what i posted the other day & you'll realize theres no problems with the car..

haha i know it was an interesting topic, the car is now running very well, its all together and working, had some other dramas with a coil pack that i've fixed but all in all the car is superb, im thinking about getting a dyno sheet done soon, it will be around 290 kilowatts or a bit more, thats what the previous owner got out of it.. it ended up costing me exactly $156 to do it myself ($140 of that was just the steel braided oil/coolant feed/return lines i ordered) beats paying $560 the mechanic offered & the best part is i learnt a good lesson from it all, cheers to anyone who helped me.. the car is for sale, check out my for sale forum.

thanks for the kind words paul, there are allof of idiots on the road especially around here, i've driven my car to and from work for the past 6 months nothing more other then the occasional supermarket job for exactly the same reason, if you see me driving give me a wave mate cheers.

hello, unfortunately i've never really liked the look of the celica's, i've heard they run well and are reliable but im afraid id have to pass on this one, i've also been hoping to swap for something a little bit newer in the last few days, it sounds like you have looked after it really well & good luck to you if your trying to sell it or swap it i'm sure there will be someone on here who is interested in swapping a skyline for a celica. catch ya mate.
