it took me and my dad 45 mins a really low car reailer & allot of sweat & tears to get my lowered skyline onto a car trainer not to mention i cracked the center muffler doing it, it also made a hell of a noise with chains and what not, im sure id hear it happen.

gone in 60 seconds, best movie in the world , my mate is pretty aware that theres a very little chance of getting it back, i told him id just ask and see what other people say incase there was like a special investigator or something we could go to, but if it's been used for parts or something like that it could be on 50 different r33's around the world lol. im pretty sure the most professional person could not steal my car right now, they would have a fulty immobiliser, most of the turbo side pulled appart, electrical wires unplugged everywhere under the hood, it has no oil or coolant & on ramps with the front spoiler removed, ha.

i have a friend that lives in maroochydore, qld and he's yellow 1993' rb25det was stolen a while ago, not sure if asking on here is any help but its worth a try, is there anything i can do to possibly track down the car? it was a professional job a few cars got done in his street the same night.

the car did run quite well after a while, but never the less the engine was setup to run with a turbo, taking the turbo out isn't the greatest of ideas.. i'm glad with what i have learned from this forum & appreciate all the people that are willing to help out, ill post up some pics when i'm finished & the cars going well.. cheers.

alright, thanks allot buddy, made my day, i've been wondering what the hell to do for the last few days, now when my metal braided line kit comes i can just put it all togethor ..

okay im going to explain this using pictures that i found on another forum.. these photos are of an rb25det rebuild, with the same braided turbo coolant/oil lines that i have on order. im not sure which line is the coolant feed and which is the return, but at this stage its not what im trying to find out, im pretty sure this is the feed.. im pretty sure this is the return going to the back of the block.. ok what i've been trying to explain, theres 2 yellow circles on the 2nd picture, at the moment there is a rubber hose going between them 2 coolant connections, is it just temporary because my turbo has been removed? i am in the process of setting my turbo up again, ive done all the work apart from the coolant lines, should i set them up exactly like the pictures show? p.s i do have the same metal braided lines on order hopefully they are here tomorrow.. please dont hesitate to tell me if this doesnt make sense i've been trying my hardest to explain it, next step ill take some pictures of my engine.

lol, ugly colour? its a good colour, i like it.. but i am going to change it if i dont sell the car coz i am sick of cops, i want like a metallic black or something, i will check the car out tomorrow morning and see if it has anything there.

yeah i know but theres more chance it would of been registed fairly quick after coming out of the factory in 93-94.

pretty sure the engine has been completely rebuilt but i will check it out.

i got onto the x owner and he was telling me he's built the engine from ground up, its a new engine i was aware of that but i had thoughts that it was still the same make of engine before he rebuilt it (rb25det), but it is actually kind of a good thing, i have 8 months till im on my fulls and the compliance plate is calling it non turbo, even tho i have a run around for now its still reassuring that i can be a little less worried when i drive it

maybe i should hit the car yard up for false advertisement then, it was advertised as a 94' r33 4 door gts25/t rb25det, the nissan FAST program i have tells me its a 93' r33 4 door gts25/g rb25de, although i know its an rb25det engine not an rb25de+t because as soon as i took the turbo off it ran like a box of s*#t, whereas if i took a turbo off an rb25de+t it would pretty much just run like an N/A engine because the compression would be more or less normal.. anyway doesnt really bother me im selling it soon and building a new car with an rb26dett

yeah for sure, i couldnt do it myself on Nissan FAST v3.5 using the vin number, so i tried typing the vin number and the model number in (model followed by ----, otherwise it wouldnt work) and it came up with the info. its a funny system thats for sure

hmm thats strange.. i didnt think there were any 1993 4 door r33's.. actually i just realised that cant possibly be my car because the model number is un accurate. anyway for anyone who wants to download Nissan FAST for themselves, i found a good torrent. http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/9042828...ast?tab=summary you will need uTorrent or bitorrent & it is about 1.6 gig, seems like its going to take ages to download but it took me like 3 hours roughly.. pretty good. then follow the instructions exactly. and it works great no viruses or anything..

it says ER33-004493, but maybe its ECR33-004493? i had a browse through this blog and couldnt find any other R33's with ER before it only R34's..

nah i dont think its a 98' engine, its definitely an rb25det, most of it has been rebuilt within the last year so the car would of been imported with the standard engine. im guessing it probably is just a mix up just wanted to see if anyone else thought that.. maybe i can just go into vicroads and get the details changed on it? i just put my vin on the VIN thread but it kinda looks different to the others that are on there.

i have an 1994' r33 rb25det. i know this.. every time i get a roadworthy done or vic roads looks up my engine number it says its an r32 1998" model. when i purchased the car they said it was a 1998 model even tho i knew it was definitely a 1994 model.. im thinking this could be because it was inported in 1998 but what i dont understand why is it being called an r32? i know my cars not stolen because i had it roadworthy & registration done about 3 months ago and they do a background check.. any ideas?
