  1. RE Shirts, answer is YES, i haven't had time to do some designs up had alot of uni/targa stuff on. will get onto something soon though
  2. Yeh Tillbrook 34 was sweet with the TE37's on it 'PORN'!!! does mick stanic have something to do with tillbrook now? i pointed the GT3 brakes out to a few ppl today and they were like WTF??? few cars didn't even make it to the end of stage 1!!!
  3. yeh mate 16th may there is gonna be heaps of cars out there
  4. i kinda don't understand the point of it? is it a game?
  5. got a definate price? i would consider doing it while my car is in melb, maybe even get a spool center made.... money money money!!!
  6. hmm mine was torn in the accident, and it was in very good condition, hope my spare one is ok, cos the spare parts car i bought is a bit fo a shitta
  7. its gonna be a serious car, not a show pony... using it for drift and circuit racing, or to that effect
  8. i am guessing the black one had R33 GTR wheels? thats damo's from hobart. well i don't know that there is any for fact.. but targa is on so there is heaps around at the moment.. i reckon i saw a pack of 12 r32/r33 gtrs today on my way into town from uni!
  9. it requires you to send the crosmember and trailing arms over to them, not bad though
  10. not a great deal lighter, maybe 120kg
  11. haha true, i remeber this guy had a write up in tha paper about his VL commo and he said' if it isn't a holden it isn't worth owning' funny it had a nissan rocker cover on it! and i believe the particular guy now owns a 200sx
  12. Umm as far as i know VL Turbo boxes are the same strength as RB25DET boxes, or even GTR boxes in RWD form. taken from www.datrats.com.au "VL TURBO RS5F30A BOX (FITS RB25DET RB30ET AND RD 26DETT ENGINES. THIS BOX IS THE SAME AS THE GTR BOX BUT WITHOUT TRANSFER FOR 4 WHEEL DRIVE. $1500 "
  13. thankyou, atleast there is a few other sane ppl out there, honestly just cos you have a nice car why is it that everyone wants to race you, in their hotted up gemini!
  14. DatSport in adelaide have made a jig to make the rear end fully adjustable (ie get rid of that horrid -ive camber and toe in) for about $500 with all new bushes/bearings and painted
  15. front strutbraces can be had from Whiteline, there is pleanty of places around that can make cages etc, a place in Hobart makes CAMS approved cages suitable for Targa Tas that can be removed and you wouldn't even notice it had a cage in it
  16. hmm id be interested in a pair of R/S badges cos i don't have anything there at the moment just the locator holes!
  17. yeh he took me for a run in it the other night, damn speed cut! yeh i was talkin to him about the coilovers the other night, dunno if i swayed him or scared him! yeh should do 12s when he has it sorted, pulled 160 rwkw's at reid racing last thursday, on 12psi pretty good considering still has factory ecu!
  18. i was just told you were gonna be in town by phat_r33 so i made the trip in
  19. haha, there was a group of us in bathurst st car park last night
  20. we saw you in town lastnight!! sweet ride
  21. hmm well worse luck for me today, ive been to 2 of the best paint colour matching places in town and because the colour is not a factory colour they have little/no hope of matching it, due to the fact that in the clear coat there is a rainbow gold fleck which they don't seem to have one as fine, i haven't been in contact with the guy i bought the car off for a year and he sprayed and mixed the paint himself. i really don't want to have to respray the whole car!
  22. cheers smooth, yes i have a good idea it won't get stopped, but we feel the ruling is not entirely fair. it is true, when the drags are on there is no one doing blockies etc. another point is that devonport of all the towns in tassie is having a complex built for drags burnouts etc, why can't launceston or hobart. i could go on for ages about this but i just really wanted to know how the law had affected QLD residents
  23. yeh ive seen it there a bit and at bunnings, was impressed with your effort last year, will be interesting this year with the optical start finish sensor, cos i know for a fact that the times get changed on preference (EG brocky). will hopefully see you at the end of the first stage bridgenorth i believe my job will be to collect time cards and have them stamped and returned to drivers
  24. ive been in a 12 sec GTR and the thing sounds absolutley mad!, this one is a genuine aust delivered which has apexi turbos apexi twin exhaust, and larger fmic, mind you a rebuild on one of these isn't cheap, but if you can afford the car you should be able to afford to service it. does some pretty mean nuts with the attessa fuse taken out!! i wouldn't go so far as saying that a gtst is shit though, rb20s aren't all that hot but there are other engines about the place!
