spotted a wine red R33 parked next to me when I came out of Domayne today...looked like my twin except it had side skirts and was a lot cleaner Had VIC number plates.

spotted: a tosser in an silver v8 falcon...he came hammering up next to me and then sat next to me - if i backed off he did too, and if i sped up a bit he did the same, but he was swerving over pretty close to me in my lane which scared me cos he seemed really aggressive not just someone wanting to 'play'.. it was 1am and i was a bit freaked out...but finally he went away.. then, i get to the end of Athlon and was about to turn onto Drakeford (my arrow had just gone green) when a blue r31 ran the red... thank god i'd waited a sec before taking off!!

well that would explain the car I saw on the way to work today with it's back window smashed!Spotted just then (8.45pm) a silver R32 coupe turning into Fyshwick from Canberra Ave.. sounded good..

Queanbeyan - 1 Weston - 2 Tuggas - 1 Belco - Gungahlin - North Side (Dickson etc) - Kingston/manuka - Woden - dont put the suburb if you dont want to...but i dont think there's much harm in putting which area you're in?? I'm sure many of us have posted on here with that info already..

i can't believe so many of you drive in 5th at only 50 or 60kmh!! It just feels wrong! i usually change at about 3000rpm and only use 5th when I get to 90-100kmh! if i had to sit in an 80 zone for a while i'd probably whack it in 5th, but if that dropped to a 70 zone I'd have it back in 4th...

i reckon it was great! for TV coverage i mean.. obviously you're gonna get better on a DVD or whatever, but i reckon good on channel 10 for having it on! good to see one of our NSW club members Darren get his mug on TV too (in the green S14)!!

you'll get different opinions on here, but insurance is worth it. If u write the car off, it's a lot of money to throw away if u dont have it! And it should only get cheaper as you build up a good NCB.Reliability is very good as long as you keep up proper servicing. Skylines are an awesome build quality compared to lots of aussie cars...you dont hear many stories about things breaking for no reason. Driveability...they are seriously such an easy and comfortable car to drive. You can drive around town under boost or very low boost...the clutch is light and easy...you'll have no dramas. Just be careful when u decide to put your foot down, or in the wet, especially if you're not used to RWD! As for kms, try to ignore them as most are crap anyway...you're better of looking at the wear and general condition, and get a proper inspection done by someone who knows their stuff.. hope that's helped!

i had a cover note with Shannons a few years ago, but ended up going with Suncorp cos it was cheaper... might get another quote next time mines up, see what they can do. I don't know if it's still the same but you had to get a Brant immobiliser to get insured with them.

haha nah i've worked it out, someone has been stuffing around with my access cant see the Execs section or the Members section either, and my NSW Member icon is gone...
