dukie...if u want to organise something that'd be great...i usually get roped into organising but been so busy lately, i don't have much time. Only thing though, morning cruises are no good for me sorry...nightshift bodyclock and all... but yeah, we need ideas for a nice drive out of town I reckon...2 hours there, 2 hours return? We did one to the Bay last year (the Clyde was fun )...something like that would be good, not all straight roads! Mark :slap:

Yeah...even tho I'm not a Ferrari fan..how happy did he look when he won?? That was great! I was happy for him. He's always upstaged by MS and copped it on the chin (like the team orders thing) and it was great to see him up there with a big grin on his face

I read that whole thread earlier tonight...very sad, and the guy hearing the passenger screaming before he died, that's just horrific got me thinking about the rear passenger being trapped. That's something I've honestly never thought about...who here has ever jumped in the backseat on a cruise with someone who you don't really know, or are unsure of their driving ability? it makes you think twice when u hear stories like this.

*some* insurance companies cover unlisted drivers, as long as they only drive the car XX times a year... i think soooo...what i mean is, it might be covered...BUT they might do an investigation (with neighbours etc) to make sure you only drove it XX times a year, and if they find out you drove it a lot more than that, they might not pay out...whether it was theft, a prang, whatever.. I'd have a read of your parents policy booklet

i went on an XR6turbo cruise after the fires... we went to that bbq area just before the pub, the one on the big u-turny corner just before the bridge. It was ok there. but yeah.. i'll be in... we haven't had one for a while!

Camry and Magna drivers are the new Volvos! as for taxis...yeah usually too pissed to care...but i don't think I've ever got in one that doesn't have a strange noise coming from somewhere And I agree with Jay95R33...we get defects for gauges - but they can have those things sitting on the dash...and what's worse is they drive along pushing the buttons and stuff....surely that's just as distracting as talking on your mobile (which you get a fine for!).

a deposit is an intent to buy the car...i don't know the legal side of it....but really, if you put a deposit down and then "find something better" that's your bad luck i reckon. Don't put a deposit down unless you actually are planning on buying the car! That's the whole point of them! It holds the car for you while you organise a mechanical inspection, a bank cheque, and shit like that...

well i agree with most ppl here... a body kit's fine but GTR badges are a no no...IMO you look like a tool, and deserve to be laughed at lots and talking of badges......i saw a 180 yesterday, with just the red "R" bit from a GT-R badge on the back of it :confused: WTF?
