  2. oh that brand.. mate, i would never buy any products like that from autobarn.... they got it all on display...intercoolers, exhausts, BOVs etc...but i just have an un easy feel about autobarn, maybe its cause the fact they sell so much cheap crap like monza etc.
  3. i see im aware of the Kanji symbols, which are the Chinese symbols used in the japanese language. yeah my mother is chinese also.. however, the Katakana & Hiragana symbols in japanese have nothing to do with the chinese language.
  4. ok ill forward you the link shortly by the way the most interesting thing this person did to his MFD...it has Tire pressure monitoring apparently as well as other interesting that can access things like music, videos, dvd's, radio, internet, phone (via blueooth integration), satellite navigation (Garmin), OBD integration, Wifi, Bluetooth & Valentine 1 radar detector
  5. let me try undertand a little more...... did you take it to a dodgy mechanic? and was the water pump brand new??? well it sounds like it could be 2 things at this point.....the water pump pulley or the Engine crank pulley? what happens if you have the bonnet open whilst revving?....does this happen or only when the engine is on a load? i wouldnt be paying him anymore more money till this is sorted....
  6. OUCH! and where is that? id didnt think coppers in rural areas cared much about mods on a car???
  7. where have you taken it to? most places really dont care well in my area in sunny auburn ...theyve passed me on bold tyres before but with a a few $$$ dollars extra
  8. well I'm guessing your pads are in good shape with plenty of % left over? metallic pads can screech but I'm not sure whether it is due to the fact that its metal to metal or the pad indicators are showing they are worn. before you come in to conclusion in replacing pads... have a look with the wheel off if you can. in alot of the cases, if a pad has about 3 - 5mm left... there is a metal clip that clips on the pad & when its worn it will come into contact with the disc...purposly making that sound so that you know it needs attention. a new pad should have about 10mm or padding... if they are new ..there is a product they sell at automotive retailers called "Copper grease" it is specially designed to be put between your brake pad and disc to reduce squealing sound without affecting the performance of braking. also i recall in memory, people who wash their cars immediately after driving...wetting the disc's and pads with cold water/hose...can risk causing warping in the disc. this can cause unwanted squealing or vibration when braking. I'm not too sure in regards to the MFD, but someone has hooked a lap top computer with the MFD & using it as a 2nd screen and replaced it with a touch screen from an independent manufacture as well... it may not be exactly what you want, but I'm sure he would be suitable to ask this question and seems like hes got the MFD all figured. person on the UK forum residing in New Zealand... ill post you the link if your interested.
  9. we got ourselves a person who speaks jap?! cool..... now you can translate alot of things for us!
  10. i actually dislike the APEX one.. i fitted one on my friends S15 200SX..and to me, i think the Apexi ones look likes dogz ballz... and i really cant seem to like the red colour...but thats just me. well what ive found with Oils with the HKS... the fact it sticks more particles...its harder to wash out....resulting in more regular replacements cause sometimes you just couldnt be stuffed washing it throughly and then waiting for it to dry etc. from memory the HKS was rated pretty good few years ago.... you gotta admit...whether some people think its shit or not.... its one of the most reputable Aftermarket parts manufacturer ever to come out of japan. so either way...whatever that article states..i think the your money is safe with HKS. what kind of drift brand filters? nameS?
  11. yeah but what i think the most sad thing is.. in Australia, its really the best place in the world to live. forget about other first world countries like japan or Usa etc. our social services are free, including medicare, unemployment benifits. i cant think of anywhere else that has it better... but yet...... people suicide and take things for granted... and there are countless countries in the world whom have it really bad. like India...africa etc... although surviving is very tough there... people still find the courage to live by a thread. and it seems the harder it is to live...the more people want to soldier on. but then again....unless some people really have phsycological issues... alot of mental sufferers actually get affected when they drop thier dosage or change medicine... resulting in this kind of thing.
  12. well with the Green HKS pod...ive washed it a few times... so that was the advantage i think its a pretty good pod...but i think "looks" factor wasnt that great.... and from what i can see...that japanese article totally raped the BLITZ and the HKS
  13. gee terry......you always seem to come up with things to SCARE us!!!!
  14. only the R35 was stock....
  15. well from the sounds of it......he lost it perhaps..... maybe due to negligent drivng....cause there isn't another car involved.. so it sux....but it was his fault at least that RX7 Driver mentioned was better off than this particular RX7..... LOL @ the guys reaction and what he says............... shafted!
  16. yeah it was more than likely from this forum but either way that was really dissapointing dude.... all this HYPE about the Spec-v and fans in USA hopeing that a refined... spec v will beat its arch rival the ZR-1 on the nurburgring.. but with this news........its BAD, news........
  17. yeah it shot out pretty quickly but then again, its hard to tell a cars potential in this kinda race. i personally think the R35 GT-R wouldve did alot better if it were for the other cars in the way.
  18. yes they do... but some are re-washable...... like the HKS..... you can wash them and oil them with special oil that is not included.
  19. there was an article i read regarding the released Spc-V in japan BEST MOTORING took it on the track... Keiichi Tsuchiya was the driver it actually did worse than the Standard GT-R that was very dissapointing ill keep you guys posted
  20. a 'good samaritan' that has such a great sense of humour as well..... Priceless brotha!!!
  21. You really are a 'Good Samaritan', Terry!
  22. then there is no point and a waste of money to get the GT-R wastegate/bov..? like one of the guys said here...... the standard wastegate on the GTS-T can be louder than the GT-R
  23. you mean.....dont buy those generic, shit. because those so called "mushroom style pod" alot of them are just counterfiets of HKS and blitz anyways
  24. and apparently having too Wide of tyres at the front can affect your turning circle on the steering wheel.....
