  1. id estimate around the $200-500 mark depending on what prep work is required and who you take it to
  2. that makes sense. i didn't realise they were abit more fiddly/time consuming to tune.
  3. i would have thought going the pfc over nistune would be quite a fair bit more expensive, pfc- average price $1200 z32- approx $300 tune- $500-$800??? all up around the $2000++ mark nistune chip and z32 ecu- approx $400 z32- approx $300 tune-?? (im under the impression it would be less dyno time so less $$ than pfc) all up around the $1000-$1300 mark ($1300 being worse case) im not questioning what you have said, im just curious as to if it would be less of a difference than this?
  4. im no expert but for under the 1k mark i think it leaves you with nistune as the best option. a pfc will cost you about the 1k+ mark before you have even tuned it. nistune will cost about that tuned. adaptronic i have not heard much about so i cant really comment but if you are talking about just ecu only (no tune) the pfc would be the best option. tried and tested sooooo many times before.
  5. im pretty sure the thread could be as old as the hills and aslong as what you posted had some meaning/reasoning to it you would be fine.
  6. i think it would be safe to say they would have used the bigger speed out of the two rather than the first offence though
  7. weather shields- SOLD coils still available, could come in handy for spares or someone who is selling their car can keep their splitfires etc and replace them with these. surely someone can use them???
  8. weather shields sold pending payment. coils still here..
  9. coil packs $50. would be ideal for someone running stock boost or anyone wanting to tape up and use
  10. i dont think they are the same. op's rims only have 10 spokes, where as the cefiro rims have 12.

im not 100% sure if you do or not. but give dan a call from elite racing developments. he should be able to answer your question and help you out if you do need one. 3807 2789. he is the brisbane/qld skyline go to man and is recommended by many, myself included.
  12. selling a pair of r33 weather shields for a r33, plastic is in excellent condition, buyer would probably have to source 2 or 3 clips. (1 clip is missing, 2 are half missing) im sure you could find some at a wrecker. $70. 6 x r33 gtst s2 standard coil packs, they were running fine on standard boost but started to break down slightly when boost was wound up. they look in perfect condition (i cant see any cracks etc). $70 i am happy to post aslong as you dont mind paying for postage. located in Brisbane. i will post pics up later this arvo if i get a chance.
  13. could you just carry a can of that foam repair thingy instead of the tyre??
  14. you want to have something about 8" on the front and 9" on the rear. maybe even abit bigger. depending on how flush you want it to sit will narrow down the offset you need. most people will go somewhere in the vacinity of +30 - +38 front and rear. but for a tougher stance somewhere around the +20 - +25 mark is more suited. from what i see on here joeyjoejoejunior and alr33x have some pretty aggressive offsets on their 33's. send them a pm and ask what they think. edit: ^^^ good timing
  15. +2 tried it on the laptop aswell as the desktop and both do the same thing. xp on the desktop, windows 7 on laptop.
  16. i have basically the same mods as you and my pump is fine. even though it is still working ok i am going to change it very soon. i figure for $150-$180 it is a very cheap assurance. and going by the recommendation of well known skyline mechanic, the walbro is fine to use.
  17. ^^ take this mans suggestions. he does know what he is on about.
  18. thanks for the help guys. that should be enough info..
  19. another vote for erd.
