That's cool guys. At the moment I'm thinking I'm probably going to sell the blitz lm..... just don't feel comfortable taking that much out of the reo and risking an insurance void. Will look at other options like a custom narrow core or I don't fkn know let yet lol

Thanks mate, I hadn't seen that Unfortunately confirms that I had my test fit correct and 50mm of reo does indeed need to be removed which I think might be too costly in terms of having an insurance claim voided

Has anyone put one of these on a S1 or S1.5 R33, Did you have to take a 50mm section of the reo bar out? If anyone has the R33 blitz instructions, is it possible to get me a scan? Thanks in advance

Shouldn't make a difference to premiums at all. Would be interesting though if someone made a claim and it were denied because the younger import savvy employee sends an assessor to look for e.g. a ebc/pfc ect ect ect in your car.

So will a s1 GTR reo bolt onto the s1 GTSt chassis rails? If so, will the GTR reo require the GTR front bar or will the S1.5 bar go on a GTR reo?

Could be interesting though having an import enthusiast working at Shannons with inside knowledge of the mods import owners are making. I see alot of claims being denied if honesty/loyalty (to Shannons) was enforced by employee.

Anyone fitted one of the blitz coolers to a s1 or s1.5 R33? Tried mine today and unless I mounted it incorrectly (I have no instructions) I will need to take a 50mm deep section out of the reo, which I wouldn't exactly call a trim or sweet FA

I've switched from Just Car to Shannons with the same premium only Shannons agreed value is almost $3K more than Just Car. Try and get a quote form Shannons if you can
