  1. I've got a feeling they might have some new aero parts, we also don't know what sort of fuel loads they're playing with yet. IMO it definitely way too early to predict how the season will pan out. Teams like Ferrari and McLaren have incredible resources and data at their disposal and will undoubtedly find a few precious tenths before the circus even gets to Europe. Of course other teams are also going to find a few extra tenths but.... how quickly. The reason I say how quickly is because Brawn/Williams/Toyota are already using the rules interpretations to their advantage as deemed legal by the ICA. If I were part of any one of the other 9 teams, I'd be worried most about RBR. Mark Webber has potentially never been in a better seat, especially if he gets himself a contract for 2010 (with RBR) if he hasn't done so already! I just have a feeling that RBR are going to establish themselves as a front runner.
  2. McLaren fastest in the first session. Ferrari not so fast......
  3. Ferrari have genuine pace when one considers that they were not using what was a suspect diffuser and the addition weight of the KERS. I'm led to believe also that Fridays free practice times from both Australia and Malaysia show that the F60 has genuine pace out of the box. Obviously relative to the Brawn GP cars they're not quite on it yet.
  4. Very Very nice, that looks great. I wouldn't have done the rust though, but each to their own
  5. Will you take $750 without the gearknob mate?
  6. I'd love to be able to tell you some stories about Holden quality, unfortunately I can't because I bound by confidentiality agreements. Anyone who says Jap is crap clearly has no clue, they ARE leaders in manufacturing technologies and processes. On a similar level I always find it amusing when guitar players tell me how good Gretsch guitars are and that they're built in the USA so they must be good..... then the look on their face when I tell them that Gretsch guitars are now and have been built in Japan for a long long time.
  7. don't need to tell me about it!!!
  8. Now I don't think it was so strange for me to have sent a pair of Weber carby's to Japan last month..... = Tough
  9. I've never seen it parked, rather always on either GJ rd or Reservoir Rd.
  10. Is that the dewinged one with black/gold plates? If so, I've seen that a few times in the last week but never before......
  11. there's another one then just like your avatar pic
  12. I've never been a Webber fan for many reasons and I'll stick my neck out this early in the season and say that Vettel will score more WDC points than Webber this year.
  13. Could you post some before and after shots please? I have a LHR that needs repair and paint too and if I have to send interstate then I'm willing to do so.....
  14. Nice 1. Congrats
  15. Is it your Stagea that I often see down Henley Beach Rd?
  16. Ferrari do have some genuine pace but I'm not expecting any miracles in Shanghai, but I hope they surprise me!
  17. Fkn LOL! I went to gold class once with the mrs (sex and the city or some shit iirc) and I thought it was a rip off.
  18. Really? Didn't leave any sludge in my motor.....
  19. Definitely doesn't take 2 hours for all your oil to drip/seep back to sump. 15-20 minutes if car has been driven and then when you've pulled the sump plug leave it out whilst you change filter and clean up, even go make yourself a coffee. I normally leave plug out for 20 minutes or more.
  20. Certainly. I've recently discovered a thinner sock with padded sole and I like....
  21. I'd still get past the tattoo thing......
  22. Jeez.... I missed a bit yesterday!
  23. I'm pretty sure I can get past the whole 'tattoo' thing......
