  1. Weak
  2. The number of people who have no idea how to drive is terrifying, they are taught to pass a test and that's it. Throw in some adverse conditions and it's like watching kids at the dodgems. Oh and I love it how the TV/radio/papers say "rain causes chaos"... bullshit. People who failed to take the conditions into account caused the chaos. But I suppose telling people they are crap drivers doesn't make them tune into your show or buy your newspapers.
  3. Yeah 20W60 is a bit thick IMHO but shouldn't cause any problems. Pressure will rise with revs as the oil pump is crank driven. The harder the engine revs, the faster the oil pump spins.
  4. Yeah used to work out that way a fair bit. Wait till you go a bit further out...
  5. No way. That was from my stash. But just to show how considerate I am, I could have bought that newspaper, and a spare iced coffee (yes, a spare... I can afford to indulge) AND turned up in the Cressida, but didn't want to offend the yokels. That would have been over FIVE BUCKS, in ONE HIT. Anyway that'll do for now, everyone is no doubt in awe of my wealth. Time to jump in the car and pick up Karen. And who knows, I might just get that newspaper...
  6. Yeah like me for example. I have money. Like the other day, I was paying for a tank of fuel at the servo, and saw an iced coffee. Not a small one mind you, a 600ml carton. I looked at it and thought "hell, why not?". I threw that $2.50 on the counter like it was nothing. I could've bought a newspaper too, but didn't want to flaunt my incredible wealth in front of the commoners.
  7. Heh have to admit it was a bit of fun to watch from the sidelines, until things started getting nasty. Then it just became bullshit.
  8. John just let it go please, there's only one kind of response to that post and it's not the kind we like to see on SAU. If nothing else I cbf going back and deleting a whole stack of nasty posts while you two argue who did what wrong. I think you two need to either part ways and agree that you can't agree, or preferably sort it out in person instead of insulting eachother on a forum.
  9. F*ck the tea, I'm going for popcorn.
  10. Somebody give me some places to look at on Google Earth dammit
  11. If you're checking out the "ladies" under the bridge, your taste is definitely different to mine
  12. Definitely 0 when not running. Without the oil pump running there is no oil pressure. Depending on age/condition of your motor and the viscosity of the oil you use, you could see anything up to 7/8 or so when cold, and 4 when warm. The 33 I drive practically every day sits on 4 when cruising on the highway, but my old car used to sit just above 2. If you're worried, put a second oil pressure guage in to compare readings.
  13. Mehning all
  14. Heh thought that group must have had at least one SAUer in it, most people don't stare at a stocko R33 when it goes past Nope, still luscious factory red
  15. *spits coffee on monitor* rofl
  16. Questions: * Have you checked your alarm battery lately in the remote? * Do the lights on the dash come on? * Do the headlights dim a little when you try to start the engine? * Does the engine crank? If you have tried all of these things and still have problems, tell us some details (in particular, your location) and we can recommend some people that may be able to help you tonight. Cheers, Marc
  17. Oh well home time.
  18. Damn you beat me to it.
  19. I had a similar problem in my 33 ages ago, except that mine would wind up but not down so it was a pain more than anything else. Anyway, mine ended up being a dry solder joint in the black box that contains the relays. An auto electrical mate (Chris Rogers, who posts on here actually ) diagnosed and fixed the problem, for a total cost of $0. In your case though, if the box is clicking the relays are actually working, so the problem sounds like it's somewhere between the box and the window motor/mechanism. Get a multimeter onto the motor if you can reach it, and see if the voltage is getting that far. If it doesn't, there's a break in the wires. If it does, you either have a fried window motor or a stuck mechanism. It should be easy enough to work out which based on whether the motor seems to be "trying" to work or not. FYI the box controls the auto up/down function.
  20. *gets ban stick ready* Nah new job means I have to wear a tie etc... ghey but it pays the bills lol
