  1. Got my car done on Sunday morning (28%, non-reflective). Only had time for one quick piccy because it started raining: Before (when car was in Japan): After: Let me also add to the praise for Robert: he is just a top bloke. Fitted me in last minute, nothing was too much trouble, extremely helpful. You couldn't ask for me. Do the right think by him guys: if you put your name down, give him a call an organise a time to do your tint. Thanks also to Adam for organising the group buy. Lucien.
  2. Less clothes, more skin LW.
  3. Started working, but seems to have died (again) at about 5:30PM :) LW.
  4. Apparently they are a standard bosch part and can be ordered through any Bosch supplier (ie. RicerBarn, SuperCrap, etc). LW.
  5. Gawd damn. I think SteveL is a fan of Penrite products: wonder if he has had any problems... LW.
  6. He is talking about the PFC PRO software, not the PFC Pro ECU LW.
  7. http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/343 Doesn't say, but I would doubt its Engrish. LW.
  8. Mark, I think you main problem is you are probably looking for too big a rim: you have to remember that 16"+ rims are a relatively recent thing. Most 80s cars came with significantly smaller rims, hence the majority of the rims you are after fall in the 14"-15" category. For example: http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auct...ction/m10997441 http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auct...ction/m11923829 http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/75704795 http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h16132029 http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auct...ction/m11796861 http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h6027804 Good luck with your searching. Lucien.
  9. Saw a white Cefiro with primer on the front bar at a Caltex in Crystal St Petersham/Leichhardt. License plate A00-??? something. LW.
  10. Well you would know about engines wouldn't you Duncan Mr 32: Thanks for the recommendation. I might have a more thorough shot at solving it myself first though LW.
  11. I am using firefox, just a slightly unstable trunk build LW.
  12. God dammit. Browser crashed and lost reply and I CBF'ed retyping it If you have a search there is a history thread somewhere that discusses the origins of the Skyline and its links to a 4-door sedan. LW.
  13. They still look and feel like they are worth $0.05c though. Any metal fabricators on here who care to hazard a guess on how much it would cost? Another option I have been playing with is fabricating some fiberglass versions... Lucien.
  14. No idea, sorry I would think its somewhere near the compressor, but really I have NFI. I have extracted the Air Con section from the workshop manual for you (Right-click, Save as) here Lucien.
  15. Fair enough. I have a similar problem with the PBR sensor showing an error and its because a fuse keeps blowing. Unfortunately the picture of where to test the sensor in the R32 Workshop manual is too dark/bad to work out where it is LW.
  16. Amen to that. You can tell where Nissan saved pennies on the R32 dash Out of interest, does anyone know of a place that makes or can supply aftermarket R32 air vents? I was thinking of seeing if I can get some replacements made out of aluminium or similar: would make a vast improvement and last a lifetime IMHO. Lucien
  17. Somehow I think your wrong As you can see here -- http://www.japanesesportcars.com/skyline/specs/ -- even the R32/33/34 lines had bargin basemount family carrying models. Base model R32s came with CA18I or RB20E lumps of iron; R33s with RB20Ds, and R34s with RB20DEs. Obviously these cars were hardly performance oriented: they were designed as the high volume models. LW.
  18. When you remove the speedo cable, be careful not to let the washer and spring run down the cable. Happened to me and was an absolute PITA to get the spring and washer back. LW.
  19. Annoyingly, the fuse I replaced popped again after about an hour of driving with the aircon on. *sigh*. Any clever suggestions on finding whatever is drawing that little bit too much? Edit: Whoops. I meant the aircon was on for about an hour before the fuse died. Cheers, Lucien.
  20. I'd check your fuses first.
  21. *Cough* BS *Cough* I am no fan of Commodores/Falcons, but that' not right. The Skyline has always been based on a 4-door family sedan, just like the Commodore/Falcon. LW
  22. While this issue is being fixed, how about turning off whatever script disallows right-clicks in the gallery when you view an individual picture? Makes it very annoying to try and copy and paste the img url. LW.
  23. You obviously haven't followed the RB30 thread cloesly then The only problem with an RB30 in a GT-R is the sump as the front drive shaft runs gets in the way of the RB30 sump. There is a guy on SAU who makes and sells adapter plates to fit the RB26 sump to an RB30 block. LW.
  24. Sorry to hear about the engine. Did you give it a full fluid change before it went bang? GTSS33SOM: See here -- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=15420 LW.
