Hey guys this is a great tute, especially for people with some skills for doing this. It fixed my problem of car cutting out and stalling. Thumbs up to people on here for sharing their wealth of knowledge
Hey there. Has anyone else had issues running FAST in Vista Ultimate? I cant get the jap library and the Aus cd to work together since using Vista. I could with XP. I can have only one of them loaded not both. Any thoughts?
You need to get the model number off your compressor and you need to match that number to other compressors that you may find.Otherwise you will find that they may all look the same BUT the offset of the pulley is different and the hose connections are different. There are so many variables in a/c compressors of the same type.Unless you want to go to the expense of getting custom brackets and hoses made up.
Good job Al, looks good. I saw one done in a aqua blue once in a mag. Think it was HPI, cant remember. It was a few years ago.Looks like you have created some work on the side Every little bit helps when you own a line
The 100 Series are pieces of crap! The front diffs blow up in them all the time as soon as you ask it to do any serious 4wd work. The guys from Toyoto also recognise this fault. I was one that liked the cruisers but I not so sure now. Just my 2c's worth.
You need to change the type of ECU in your car if you want to get rid of AFM's eg: Pfc or Microtech etc that use a MAP sensor to guage the amount of air the engine is using.Cant just take them out.
