GT is way better and more realistic so i recommend that......

beside the fact 9/10 skylines have a bigger tip than a can of any drink........GAY IDEA might have believed it if you used a heineken keg or just paint your exhaust then its as cool as your pre-school finger paintings

used my credit card and a heap of windex afterward, no prob .... my car is white though so it may have different effect due to how faded your paint is.

my alarm beeps if you are in the vicinity of my vehicle and will go off with a bump to the car or anything moving inside the car. i did spend $800 for that on top of the security from the previous owner. i think it is totally worth it and not overkill......my prestige plate was stolen and my alarm went off but they were gone before i got to car.

i lived in nsw and now in qld and nsw roads are sooooo bad.as soon as you pass the border you notice the difference. i have had better dirt roads than nsw sealed roads. theres my 2 cents

Im not sure if my mongoose system (mongoose 4, had to get that to hook up to turbo timer?????) is the same, but mine has same door probs and a range of about 5 metres. I also have a microwave sensor, and it recalabrates every 30 seconds regardless if immobilised or not.(meaning my alarm will go off if you arm car then disarm car and open the door 30 seconds after) just means if i accidently bump remote while walking away from car and unlock it....the alarm will go off if someone opens my door.

bought a sub box for $80 today (just mdf sealed box), fitted it and wired it myself. have my boot room and the sound is even better than before. now i have a spare 12" 1000W sub and a twin 12" sub box........ thanks heaps guys

all pioneer.....part numbers....meh effort, amp is mounted up near battery. im heading to sound in motion tomorrow and see what they have in the way of sub boxes.

thanks 08r3308 i think i will get 1 box and put to the side. any rough idea of cost for box...i will install myself. since im only running 1 sub, will it sound better. the car came with both in it and if my reading is correct I have a 600W amp and 2x 1000W subs (400W minimum) the sub box only had 1 speaker cable to the amp and then it run another cable into itself. im presuming it split itself so both woofers running but through 1 amp terminal.

i can actually fit both subs where the spare goes. they sit about an inch or so above the wheel well, will this be a problem being magnetic???? my plan was to use same material that is inside my sub box (cotton fluffy stuff) and line the wheel well, then cut 2 holes in the tyre cover to fit subs and sikaflex + screw tyre cover back down. screw subs in and connect. The boot already has dynamat throughout the boot lid and i have the stock card boot lining things. If it sounds real crap then i can just put the sub box back in and have no boot once again since the sub box will cover my 2 holes i will cut. What difference will it make if i face my subs into the car, as they now are facing out of the car????? (meaning turn my box around as this will create a little more room) My skyline is a family performance car....lol, fits shopping luggage gets me from A to B FAST and has a good sound system.

how much would i be looking at for a 12" sub box to fit in side. Just wanting to keep cost as low as possible as im strapped for cash atm. Would it be worth selling my sub box but keep my subs. Its a pioneer, outside of box has carpet stuff all over it. Aluminium or metal of sorts trims. Inside of box is lined with a cotton foam material.

Hi guys/girls, Im in need of boot room. Just took out my twin 12" subs which obviously took up all my boot space. As you can imagine the sound system is now CRAP. Saw there is a spare tyre. Can I remove the tyre and cut a hole in the cover panel and just screw 1x 12" sub there. Can anyone let me know what work will be required. Thanks

i looked a bit online but not from any sources that give definites. I just took / unbolted my twin 12" sub box and realised there was a spare tyre, so I immedietly thought DEFECT if i was to be pulled over. I want boot room so i was thinking of putting 1x 12" sub back in, but remove the spare tyre and have the sub lay down in its place and have one of those inflation goo repair things for if i get a flat.

Just wondering if it illegal to not have a spare tyre. Thanks

slightly off topic when did he move north and what skyline does he have? The night my plates got stolen was the last time a skyline was parked everyday for months a few doors down from me. never seen this skyline again but remember the plates on it. (the above is not an accusation of him taking my plates, just a query to forward info to the police if the date is relevant)

I think people trying to leave their carparks were more annoyed. I was at the back of the 2nd line so about car number 25ish out of all the skylines. You can see from the pics I took above we had a small convoy going on. Im not sure how grouped everyone else was though.
