  1. Car came back with 260 at the treads. Not bad considering it's a tiny 21U housing. Gah, have to wait 4 days though. 4 painful days!
  2. Well done mate.
  3. I'll bring some oil so you can top it up.
  4. lol, yes. The place will be full of RB's and SR's. 30-40 people, can't miss us.
  5. bwahahahah
  6. Traction do the AD08's in 255/40 R17 for $380ea. The RS3's are cheaper from RTR, but not by a whole lot, not sure they will last as long as the AD08's is the main thing. If they are 1-2 seconds quicker and last less, it maybe worth it. Maybe. 12-13 Track days and counting now on the AD08's, times are still coming down as the power and aero goes on. Just for comparison, 1.50.x was my time at PI 3-4 events in a row with AD08's. Drop a wing on the back, came down to a single 49 that next event. Drop 40kw into the car, came down to consistent 49's lap after lap each session (then rain). Drop an extra 30kw into the car, have to see on the 21st. Where did 70kw come from....850cc, E85, Z32. ARTZ the helmet needs the Aus Standards sticker, doesn't matter what type. It's in the sup regs on the rex entry page.
  7. lol, tyre talk. Mine is bigger than all of yours! I've done a 38 at Winton on KU's, 595RSR and AD08's. The biggest difference between KU's and the other two is that KU drop off during the session something shocking. 1-2 lap flyers, even in the cold weather. RSR last long into the session and AD08's last pretty much the whole session without change. With the RSR I could bank a couple of 38's a session, with the KU's you would get one and the AD08's basically every lap. (this is the with old power level and no areo, I need to get back to winton and see what 70kw extra and some aero does...!) Doing consistent 3-4 laps on KU is very hard and good luck if you can do it. - Like the soft feel of KU's, they let go very progressively and scream their nuts off - LIke the grip from the RSR's, but they give little notice when they are going to break away - Like the AD08's as they last forever and have the progressive feel to them Dave will be out at the Island on the 21st with a set of RS3's after being on both KU's and RSR. So he should be able to give good feedback. The old finger nail into tread test sees the RS3's as very farkn soft compared to the all the others.
  8. Jebus you lot! You will all need letters saying you are members. Which I'll do for you tonight. You will need to print them and bring them along with you.
  9. Mate people turn up in mums camry. That is what groups are for. Just put down u have never been to PI before.
  10. Webber and Ricciardo 2014 huh.
  11. lol ARTZ you will be fine. Just make sure the old isn't 50000000000000tly years old and you have plenty of it in the sump. fyi I have pins, but only recently since things have got a little more serious.
  12. Plazma use the stock runners for their forward facing plenum.
  13. The whole catch would have to fail, very unlikely. Then do you think the 8mm bunnings wire that most people use as a secondary will hold the surface area of the bonnet at 200kmh...Don't think so. In part this would have been why CAMS changed the ruling.
  14. They changed the wording in the CAMS regs, if the bonnet has two devices stock. It's fine.
  15. Yep done mine as well. Stock tow points are fine. Just remember they arent going to car about your front bar..
  16. Can't comment on that.
  17. Mate in E36 M3 runs them as well. Drove the car a lot for a few year. No issues, they were actually much better than the stock BMW dampers.
  18. Much much more compliant than SS. In saying that, have never driven on brand new SS. Just second hand sets. I would rate the BR's better than second hand Type Flex easy. The BR, as I said, firm. But they don't bounce around or or skip off bumps.
  19. BC BR are good for the price. They are in my brothers R33 GTST. I drove it around of months while he was on deployment. Firm, but compliant. They also did very while on the track when I wound them down. I've since driven the car while it's been in QLD. Just as good, both on the road and on the track up there. They are much softer than any cusco / tein japan stuff. Much more compliant than old stock suspension as well. My Greddy Type-S are basically BC BR as well.
  20. Victorian Road Safety.
  21. I have a front frame. I shouldn't be breaking the shafts with under 300rwkw....I hope....
  22. Replication of the weekend just pasted would be nice.
