Mine is a reco box (previous owner spent $1800). Never saw a track day while he had it with stock power. Crunches 4th like the stocker boxes ive had previously. Sometimes even on light load on the way back from a track day. Same as the stockers. He was using mineral, after some crunching I changed it too redline. Didn't make it go away, but its noticabley better. The stocker boxes used motul. I just put it down to a combination of shift style and loading...

Fuel cans used with BP98, so yep used with UE85. Though it was wet, cant tell use on track. United in Sanremo needs E85!!!

Yep filled up with UE85 for 97c the other day. The 'baxter' servo is in frankston. Up from the tower hill maccas. Lol the guy in there knows me well now.

lol. The stock wheel was originally made for Nissan Buses, large. Non-gtr seats are also from the same Buses and sit very high... Hard to do much about the wheel and remain RWC compliant. But you can change to GTR seats or Ark Design / Recaro / what ever with Bride Rail and get you much lower than the stock GTST seats.

I never classed Suzuki as an underdog. By the time he turned up here in Aus, he had proved himself. I mean underdog with a hollinger gearbox...Full respect to him though. Did the Sutton guys run the 2J 180sx last year? Is that thing coming back, great car and concept. Loved watching it around the track.

My AD08's have done 13 track days now, granted two have been interrupted by rain though. Still, impressed. The times don't seem to be dropping off yet either. I'm just waiting for them to die! Briz, the AO50's are such a low volume tyre here in Aus. So I can fully understand the price. You have seen it over in Europe, the shear number of cars that turn up to track days and number of events outweighs many times over what we have here. Sames goes for the states. The more demand there is, the more supply and competition on price.

iirc. Chasers tested the 221's vs the AO50's and went with the AO50's. Wholly crap, WRX had 26 cars at Winton! 26 Not great financially.
